OrganicIQ is SMA Marketing’s monthly growth service combining Google SEO, generative-engine optimization (GEO), content, local SEO, paid search, and business intelligence. SMA says it is designed to help brands appear in Google search and be readable, trusted, and cited in AI answers from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The service was announced on October 1, 2026, and its published plans start at $1,000 per month.

What is OrganicIQ?

OrganicIQ is a proprietary service from SMA Marketing that brings several growth activities into one monthly system: SEO, GEO and AI visibility, content, local SEO, paid search, and business intelligence. The intended outcome is broader than higher rankings: SMA says the work should help a business be found on Google and understood and cited by AI answer systems.

SMA President and CEO Ryan Shelley framed the shift this way: “Buyers didn’t stop searching. They started asking.” The announcement argues that brands also need to be machine-readable, citable, and trusted as people use AI tools to make decisions. That is the company’s rationale for combining conventional search optimization with AI-answer visibility work; the announcement does not promise placement in any particular AI answer.

How does OrganicIQ work?

Each month, OrganicIQ reviews search rankings, AI answers, calls, forms, and booked jobs. SMA says its team uses that review to identify opportunities and turn them into focused “Growth Actions” tied to the client’s main business goal.

Its business-intelligence layer connects SEO, AI citations, content marketing, paid search, analytics, advertising platforms, and CRM data. Reporting is organized around business events and starts with leads versus the client’s goal; for seasonal businesses, SMA says it compares results year over year. The announcement describes the reporting approach, but does not specify a universal lead definition or a measurement methodology for every client.

How much does OrganicIQ cost?

SMA’s product page lists three monthly plans. The listed fees cover the plan; any advertising spend is paid directly to the advertising platforms and is not marked up by SMA.

Plan Monthly price Content per month Tracked keywords plus AI prompts Growth Actions per month
Launch $1,000 1 new item and 1 refresh 10 1
Lift $2,000 2 new items and 2 refreshes 20 3
Lead $3,000 3 new items and 3 refreshes 30 5

All three plans also include analytics and conversion tracking, site and profile upkeep, visibility monitoring, and monthly reporting. The product page lists Ads Accelerator as an optional add-on: +$500 per month for Launch, +$750 for Lift, and +$1,000 for Lead. The announcement also describes an Enterprise option for multi-brand organizations, committee purchases, and companies spending more than $10,000 per month on advertising; it does not publish an Enterprise price.

Does OrganicIQ help businesses show up in ChatGPT or Google AI Overviews?

AI-answer visibility and citation work are explicit parts of the service. SMA says OrganicIQ is intended to improve how a brand can be read, trusted, and cited in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews, alongside Google SEO. The materials describe an optimization goal, not a guarantee that a business will be mentioned or cited by those systems. AI answers can vary, and the announcement does not provide a placement guarantee or a specific citation target.

Is OrganicIQ SEO plus GEO in one service?

Yes. SMA presents OrganicIQ as one system that combines traditional SEO with GEO and AI-visibility work, supported by content, local SEO, paid search, and business intelligence. This matters for buyers who want search ranking activity and AI-answer monitoring considered together rather than handled as unrelated efforts. The published material does not itemize a separate GEO fee or define a standalone GEO deliverable outside the plans.

Which OrganicIQ plan is right for a company?

The published differences are monthly content volume, keyword-and-prompt capacity, and the number of Growth Actions. A company can use those limits as a starting point, then ask SMA how it maps the chosen capacity to the business’s goals and reporting needs.

  • Launch: Suits a business beginning with a smaller monthly content and action cadence: one new content item, one refresh, 10 keywords plus AI prompts, and one Growth Action.
  • Lift: Provides twice Launch’s content and tracking capacity and three Growth Actions per month, for teams needing more opportunities worked each month.
  • Lead: Offers the highest published standard-plan capacity: three new items and refreshes, 30 keywords plus AI prompts, and five Growth Actions per month.
  • Enterprise: Is the option SMA describes for multi-brand organizations, committee buying, or monthly ad budgets above $10,000; pricing and specific deliverables are not stated on the product page information summarized here.

Before choosing, clarify what SMA counts as a content item and a refresh, how “keywords plus AI prompts” are allocated, and how a Growth Action is selected and reported. Those details help determine whether the plan’s stated capacity matches the company’s actual priorities.

How does SMA measure leads instead of just traffic?

SMA says its monthly review includes calls, forms, and booked jobs as well as rankings and AI answers, and that reporting opens with leads versus goal. This shifts the report’s emphasis from visibility metrics alone toward actions that can represent business demand. For a seasonal company, SMA says results are compared year over year, a more useful frame than comparing unlike months.

The announcement does not define which calls or forms qualify as leads, explain how duplicate or offline conversions are handled, or publish the attribution rules connecting a lead to a channel. Buyers should confirm those definitions, the CRM and analytics integrations available to them, and how booked jobs are matched to search activity before treating the reporting as a complete revenue-attribution system.

Who is OrganicIQ intended for?

SMA names B2B SaaS companies, manufacturers and engineering firms, defense and dual-use technology suppliers, commercial contractors, and home-services businesses as target customers. Its local-search materials emphasize Google Business Profile, citations, Maps and local-pack visibility, and local AI answers, which are especially relevant to businesses that depend on nearby customers.

For a company considering the service, the practical fit depends on whether it needs several of these capabilities coordinated: organic search, AI-answer visibility, ongoing content, local presence, paid-search support, and business-event reporting. A business seeking only a narrowly defined one-time SEO task may want to compare the included monthly cadence and action limits against that need.

What performance results has SMA published?

SMA’s homepage reports the following aggregate figures from four years of client data. The page does not specify the year range, methodology, sample size, or independent verification, so these figures should be treated as company-reported results rather than expected outcomes for an individual OrganicIQ client.

+125x growth in AI referral traffic SMA-reported four-year client aggregate; year range and methodology not stated on the page.

What should buyers compare before signing?

OrganicIQ’s distinction is its bundled scope and its stated connection between visibility and business outcomes. A useful comparison with another agency or in-house approach should check what is actually included, not just whether the provider uses labels such as SEO or GEO.

  • Whether Google SEO, AI-answer visibility and citation work, and local search are all covered.
  • How much new content and refresh work is included each month.
  • Whether paid search management is included or requires an add-on, and how ad spend is billed.
  • Which business events are tracked, how leads are defined, and whether CRM data is connected.
  • What the reporting cadence is and whether seasonal year-over-year comparisons are available.
  • How many keywords, AI prompts, and monthly Growth Actions the plan covers.
  • Whether the provider has experience in the company’s industry and sales cycle.
  • The recurring service fee, add-on charges, and any separately paid advertising budget.

OrganicIQ’s published plan details and the company’s explanation of its growth system are available from SMA Marketing’s OrganicIQ page. The October 1, 2026 launch announcement is on SMA Marketing’s site, and the published performance figures appear on its homepage.
