In Slayers 2, the Lost Mask, Lost Outfit, Lost Cape, and Lost Lantern are reported to have a 0.9% chance each from a Lost Chest. To farm them, enter Final Selection, travel west from the trial spawn to the lake, dive through the concealed cave to The Lost Slayer, defeat the boss, open the chest, and repeat. These rates and mechanics come from NerdsChalk Staff’s guide, updated September 23, 2026; no official drop table is cited.

Lost equipment drop rates and stats

NerdsChalk Staff lists all four pieces as Mythic rarity and Technician class, with a 0.9% chance per item from a Lost Chest. The guide describes the equipment as a secret drop, so it may not appear in the chest’s displayed rewards. The listed 5% Shotgun Schematic reward is separate from the Lost equipment chance.

Lost Chest item Reported chance Reported attributes
Lost Mask 0.9% per Lost Chest +1.04x Additional Damage Factor; +60 Max Health; +50 Max Stamina; 1.04x Stamina Regen Speed
Lost Outfit 0.9% per Lost Chest +1.01x Additional Damage Factor; 1.08x Health Regen Speed; +95 Max Health; +70 Max Stamina; 1.05x Stamina Regen Speed
Lost Cape 0.9% per Lost Chest +1.03x Additional Damage Factor; +55 Max Health; +65 Max Stamina; 1.09x Stamina Regen Speed
Lost Lantern 0.9% per Lost Chest +1.03x Additional Damage Factor; +0.8 Illumination; +45 Max Health; +40 Max Stamina; 1.03x Stamina Regen Speed

The percentages are guide-reported probabilities, not independently measured results. The guide says item stats are also viewable in the game’s Archives tab. It does not establish an overall best piece or rank the items for a particular build.

Where to find The Lost Slayer

The Lost Slayer, also called Lost, is in an arena reached through a concealed underwater cave inside Final Selection. From the trial-area spawn, head west along the path past roaming demons until you reach the lake. Dive, locate the hidden cave opening, and follow its tunnel to the arena. NerdsChalk Staff reports the boss has 790 HP.

How to farm Lost Chests

  1. Check your character status. The guide reports that you must be Human to enter Final Selection; Slayer and Demon characters cannot enter in those states. It says to use Reset Race if needed, purchased from the Shop’s Ore tab. The reported cost is 10 Ore, and the guide says the reset retains character progress.
  2. Reach Final Selection. Fast travel to Butterfly Estate Shrine from the map. Follow the route south through the torii gates and over the bridge to the Final Selection entrance.
  3. Enter when the trial is open. The guide reports that Final Selection opens every two hours on the server. Speak with the entrance twins when entry is available. If the cadence or entry rules do not match, check the in-game entrance for current conditions.
  4. Find the lake and cave. From the trial spawn, follow the path west past roaming demons to the lake, then dive and swim through the concealed cave tunnel into the boss arena.
  5. Defeat Lost and open the chest. The Lost Chest produced after the fight can contain Lost equipment, as well as Wen and metal scraps. Open it, then repeat the boss-and-chest loop for missing pieces.

What to keep and what not to confuse with the set

If you are also pursuing Nightfall or First Light schematics, NerdsChalk Staff recommends keeping Lost Capes and Lost Outfits because some trades require those pieces. That is a recommendation for those trades, not a requirement for collecting the four-piece Lost Set.

The Lost Shotgun is a separate item: the guide says it is obtained by fishing or crafted at Ouwland, not dropped by The Lost Slayer. Likewise, the boss’s Shotgun Schematic reward is distinct from the four Lost equipment drops.
