To get the Book of Guidance in Slayers 2, accept Recover the Lost Pages from Kona in the starting area, then collect five pages around Windy Peak Village. Look for them near stacked barrels, a garden corner by a wall or ramp, a red torii gate, a large rock, and the bamboo garden along the west or left wall. Collect them in any order and use the quest counter to confirm each pickup.
Start Recover the Lost Pages
Find Kona in the starting area and accept the optional quest Recover the Lost Pages. Its objective is to collect five Lost Pages in the village; the guides reviewed do not indicate that you need to travel to another region. The quest counter tracks your progress.
Published guides differ on the precise numbering and some individual page positions, so treat the landmarks below as a search checklist rather than a guaranteed numbered route.
All five Lost Pages locations
- Stacked barrels: Check the three-barrel stack near the tall pagoda or largest house.
- Garden corner: Search a garden corner beside a wall, near the area reached after descending a ramp.
- Red torii gate: Look around the red gate.
- Large rock: Check beside a prominent rock or boulder.
- Bamboo garden: Search the bamboo area along the west or left wall.

Pick up pages and track progress
- Go close to a page and use the interaction prompt shown in your game.
- Check the quest counter after each pickup. Visiting a landmark alone does not count as collecting its page.
- Continue searching until the counter shows 5/5; the pages can be collected in any order.
One guide reports pressing T at the pickup prompt, but controls can depend on the source and your settings. Follow the prompt displayed in your game rather than assuming that key applies to every player. [AllThingsHow]
Get and use the Book of Guidance
Once the counter reaches 5/5, check your inventory for the Book of Guidance. Guides disagree about whether the final page grants it automatically or whether you must return to Kona. If the book or quest completion is missing, speak to Kona and check again.

The book helps direct you toward a recommended next quest or its NPC. Published guides also disagree about the numeric reward and currency wording, so an exact payout is not established here.
If a page seems missing
- Confirm that Recover the Lost Pages is active and that the counter is below 5/5.
- Search the landmarks rather than following a page number from a route that may differ from your game.
- Inspect the ground closely and use the on-screen pickup prompt; make sure the counter increases.
- After five pickups, check inventory and talk to Kona if the book or completion state has not appeared.
