An October 8, 2026, headline attributed to IGN reported the Skytech Ryzen Edition desktop with an RTX 5070 at Amazon for $1,499.99. That is a reported offer, not a confirmed live price. The available listing details do not identify the exact model or its full configuration, so there is not enough information to call it a good deal yet.
What the $1,499.99 report establishes
Two indexed pages attribute the deal headline to IGN and report the same $1,499.99 price: BurnMonitor and Sitgi. Sitgi’s listing is dated October 8, 2026. These are secondary index pages, not the original report or an Amazon product listing. The price should therefore be treated as the amount reported in the headline, not as a price verified on Amazon now.
The exact Amazon listing and model number were not established in the accessible results. They also do not confirm the CPU, RAM, storage, seller, shipping terms, or when the offer ends. Skytech configurations can vary, so specifications from a different PC should not be assumed to describe this one.

Is it a good deal?
There is not enough verified information to judge value from the GPU name and reported price alone. A fair comparison with other RTX 5070 prebuilts needs the full configuration and purchase terms, as well as a current price. The available evidence also does not establish price history or a discount percentage.

What to verify on the Amazon listing
- Exact Skytech model or SKU, and whether the listing’s configuration matches the reported Ryzen Edition PC.
- CPU model, memory capacity and generation, and SSD capacity.
- Power supply and cooling details, if specified.
- Whether Windows is included and which license or edition is supplied.
- Seller, shipping costs, return conditions, and warranty and support coverage.
- Current price and availability; neither is confirmed by the indexed headline.
What to expect for gaming
The indexed IGN item describes the system as an affordable option for 1080p and 1440p gaming. No benchmark results, frame rates, or testing method were available, so that description is positioning rather than independently verified performance. Actual results depend on the complete PC configuration and the games and settings used.

Before you buy
- Open the Amazon product page and confirm that it is the Skytech Ryzen Edition RTX 5070 system, not a different Skytech configuration.
- Check the model, CPU, RAM, storage, included software, seller, shipping, returns, and warranty against your requirements.
- Confirm the live total price and availability at checkout. Do not rely on the reported $1,499.99 headline price if the listing shows something else.
- Compare the verified configuration and coverage with similarly priced RTX 5070 prebuilts before deciding.
