The Skechers AERO Razor is a lightweight running shoe built for everyday runs and faster training, but its relatively direct ride and narrow-feeling toe area may not suit every runner. Tom’s Guide reported on October 5, 2026, that the women’s version was $91, down from $140 (35% off), while the men’s version was $105. Those are prices reported at publication, not a guarantee of today’s price or stock.
What the Skechers AERO Razor is designed for
Skechers positions the AERO Razor as a lightweight technical running shoe intended to span everyday runs and faster training. Its product page describes a combination of HYPER BURST PRO midsole foam, HYPER ARC rocker technology, an Arch Fit insole, a forefoot H-Wing, a breathable engineered mesh upper and a Goodyear performance outsole. These are manufacturer-listed technologies and materials, not independent proof of performance or a promise of injury prevention.
The practical pitch is versatility: one shoe for ordinary training days and efforts where a lighter, more responsive feel is appealing. Tom’s Guide’s review provides a useful counterpoint to that positioning: its reviewer found the ride light and lively, but said it could feel under-cushioned to some runners.

Tom’s Guide’s reviewer reported running 35 miles in the AERO Razor and described a light, lively, direct ride. That is one reviewer’s experience rather than a standardized comparison or a guarantee that the shoe will feel the same for every runner.

The reviewer also found the shoe fairly narrow around the toes and advised runners with wide feet to try it before buying when possible. Fit is personal, so consider toe-room and width alongside the shoe’s intended faster-training use; a low listed weight does not make a snug fit more suitable.

Weights are tied to the stated sample sizes; they should not be read as the weight of every size. Stack and offset are manufacturer-published figures, not independent measurements. The 4 mm offset means the published heel-to-forefoot stack difference is 4 mm.

October 2026 Prime Day prices: what the discount covers
Tom’s Guide reported on October 5, 2026, that the women’s AERO Razor was $91, reduced from $140, a 35% cut. The same report listed the men’s version at $105; it did not establish a matching 35% reduction for that version. Recheck the Amazon listing for the current price, size and color availability, seller, stock and offer eligibility before purchasing.

At the reported women’s price, the shoe may be worth considering if you want a lightweight trainer for a mix of routine and faster running and the fit works for you. The discount does not resolve the main subjective trade-off in the review: some runners may prefer more cushioning, and the toe area may feel restrictive to wide-footed runners.

Who should consider the AERO Razor
- Consider it if you want a lightweight running shoe marketed for both everyday and faster training, and you prefer a more direct, lively ride.
- Try it on first if possible if toe-box room is a priority or you have wide feet; the reviewer reported a fairly narrow feel.
- Look elsewhere if you know you prefer a softer, more cushioned sensation, since the review notes that the AERO Razor may feel under-cushioned to some runners.
