Usually, no. If you never had an account with the company, shared no information with it, and did not reuse the password anywhere else, the notice alone is not a reason to change passwords on your other accounts. If you used the same or a similar password elsewhere, change it on every account where it was reused and choose a different password for each.
First, check whether the company may have your information
A breach notice does not prove that every account you own is compromised—or even that the company had one of your passwords. It may have received other personal information, or the message may be mistaken or fraudulent.
If you do not recognize the company, look for its official website or app independently and use the contact details there to check whether the notice is genuine and what information was involved. Avoid relying on links or phone numbers in an unexpected message until you have verified the sender.

When to change passwords
You reused the same or a similar password
Change the password on every account where you used the same or a similar one, even if you never had an account with the company named in the notice. Start with high-impact accounts such as your email and financial accounts. Make each replacement unique. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) advises changing a breached password on the affected service and on other services where you reused the same or a similar password: FTC breach advice.

A password manager can help you create and keep unique passwords. The FTC explains password managers and other ways to protect accounts in its password guidance.
You did not reuse a password and have no account there
There is generally no password for that company’s account to change, and the notice by itself does not mean you should change unrelated passwords. If you later confirm that the company had personal information about you, respond to the type of information involved.

You may have had an account or shared information
Confirm through an independently located company channel whether you had an account, what information was exposed, and whether the notice recommends specific steps. If the company says a password was exposed, change it there and anywhere you reused it. For other data types, use the relevant identity or financial protections rather than treating a password change as a complete response.
Match the next steps to the data exposed
The FTC directs consumers to IdentityTheft.gov/databreach for steps tailored to a breach. Password exposure calls for changing affected and reused passwords. If Social Security or financial information was involved, follow guidance for that information too. The FTC’s breach-response resource discusses steps that may apply when a Social Security number is exposed, including reviewing credit reports and unfamiliar accounts, and considering a credit freeze or fraud alert.

Consider extra account protection
Multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds a second verification factor to a password. The FTC explains options including security keys in its two-factor authentication guidance. MFA is an optional way to strengthen accounts, not a prerequisite for deciding whether this notice calls for a password change. Check that a service supports the factor you choose and that you can recover access if you lose a device or key.
