Shoresy: Legends of the North is described as a fast-paced hockey RPG set in the Shoresy universe. You create a skater, join the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, and take on the Hockey Godz. Mark Montefiore, Founder and CEO of New Metric Media, said the company saw potential for Shoresy to extend beyond television, describing gaming as a natural fit given the show’s connection to hockey culture. He said the collaboration with Treewood Games was intended to give fans another way to engage with the characters and humor.
The ScreenRant/AOL report also quotes an unattributed press release describing the game as designed to be played together, with references to hockey moves and testing friends’ claims about their gaming skill. That is promotional language, rather than a guarantee of identical multiplayer options on every platform; consult each store’s feature list.
