The Sheridan Deluxe Feather & Down Standard Pillow is a medium-feel, medium-profile pillow filled with equal parts white goose down and white goose feather. Sheridan describes it as suitable for back and side sleepers, but the available public evidence does not establish an independent performance verdict. The practical trade-offs are its dry-clean-only care and a mismatch between Sheridan’s and CHOICE’s listed dimensions.
What the Sheridan pillow is—and what the review evidence establishes
Sheridan’s Australian product page identifies the pillow as model S3SP in Standard size. It lists a 100% cotton cover, a 50/50 white goose down and white goose feather fill, and a medium feel and profile. Sheridan says down contributes softness and shapeability while feathers add support. These are the manufacturer’s specifications and product descriptions, not findings from independent hands-on testing.
CHOICE has a product record under the corresponding review title. Its publicly visible listing confirms the fill, medium-firmness claim, dry-clean-only care and China as the country of origin. However, CHOICE marks the Expert Rating and test-result fields as members-only. The public record therefore does not support a score, a test-based recommendation, or claims about measured comfort, durability or performance. See CHOICE’s product record.

Is it suitable for side and back sleepers?
Sheridan lists the pillow for side and back sleepers and describes it as medium in feel and profile. That guidance may help shoppers looking for a middle-ground loft and support, but it is not a guarantee that the pillow will suit a particular person. The accessible CHOICE listing does not reveal its side-sleeping or back-sleeping test results, so there is no public independent score here to confirm the brand’s positioning.

Fill, cover and dimensions
- Fill: 50% white goose down and 50% white goose feather, according to Sheridan.
- Cover: 100% cotton, according to Sheridan.
- Dimensions: Sheridan lists 73 × 48 cm. CHOICE’s visible record lists 62 × 36 × 17 cm. Neither source explains the measurement method or the difference, so check the current product details with Sheridan before relying on a precise fit comparison.
- Origin: Sheridan says the pillow is designed in Australia and made in China; CHOICE also lists China as the country of origin.
Because the two published size figures differ substantially, do not assume that either set of dimensions maps directly to a particular pillowcase or protector without checking compatibility.
Care and returns
Sheridan lists the pillow as dry clean only and recommends airing it regularly between laundering. It is not presented as machine washable, so its care routine is less convenient than that of a washable synthetic alternative.
