Shark’s AquaReach Pro has arrived in the UK as model WD562UK, listed by SharkNinja at £499.99 on 9 October 2026. Its unusual feature is an extendable wand designed to take suction and targeted cleaning spray beyond floors—to places such as tiled walls, baseboards and the space beneath furniture. Shark describes it as a wet-and-dry cleaner for sealed hard surfaces, not a general-purpose dry vacuum.
What the extendable wand is designed to do
Most floor washers are framed around cleaning the floor head’s path. Shark says the AquaReach Pro can vacuum and mop at the same time on floors, while its extendable multi-surface wand brings suction and targeted spray to above-floor and hard-to-reach areas. SharkNinja’s UK listing describes the design as “Vacuum and mop at the same time from floor to ceiling for deep-cleaning efficiency.” That is the manufacturer’s description, not an independent performance finding.
Shark lists shower tile, tubs, kitchen backsplashes, areas under furniture, behind the toilet and baseboards as examples. The point of the wand is to extend the appliance’s cleaning reach; it does not make the Pro a general-purpose dry vacuum for every surface or task.
Which surfaces Shark says are suitable
Shark specifies sealed surfaces. Its listed compatible materials include sealed tile, laminate, hardwood, vinyl, stone and porcelain. The company cautions that the cleaner is not suitable for every material and advises checking the instructions for the surface in question. That qualification matters for walls and other above-floor areas: a material being listed does not establish that every finish, sealant or installation is appropriate.

UK price and model
The UK Pro is model WD562UK. SharkNinja’s UK product page displayed a price of £499.99 when accessed on 9 October 2026; prices can change. T3 reported the UK arrival on 8 October 2026, after the model’s US debut in August. Its report said the Pro was then the only AquaReach variant available in the UK, while Essential and Premium versions had launched in the US. That is launch-period context, not confirmation of today’s range or stock.
The available evidence confirms SharkNinja’s product listing, but not live retailer inventory or whether a particular retailer currently has the WD562UK in stock. Check the retailer’s listing for the exact model number and current price before buying.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not independently measured results. Shark also says the Stain Scrubber removes stuck-on stains “2X faster” than the floor nozzle; the comparison is specifically against that nozzle and is a Shark claim.

The higher-priced Pro’s clearest documented distinctions are its longer stated maximum runtime, heated-drying dock and listed wand tools. The cited product pages do not establish that it cleans better than WD550UK in a comparative test.

What the dock’s bacteria claim means
SharkNinja says the Pro’s heated-dock self-cleaning cycle “eliminates 99.9% of bacteria” from the brush-roll. The company says the reduction was tested by an external laboratory under controlled conditions, that results in homes may vary, and that the product must be used as directed. This is a qualified manufacturer claim about the brush-roll under the stated test conditions—not a general guarantee that the appliance sanitises a household or every surface it cleans.
