To forward calls on a Samsung Galaxy S10, open Phone → More (three dots) → Settings → Supplementary Services, select the SIM you want to configure, then tap Call forwarding → Voice Calls. Choose when calls should forward, enter the destination number, and enable the option. The carrier must support the service, so the setting may vary or fail depending on your SIM, carrier, and software version.
Set up call forwarding on your Galaxy S10

Open the Phone app.

Tap More (the three dots), then Settings.

Tap Supplementary Services. On a dual-SIM phone, select the SIM whose calls you want to forward.

Tap Call forwarding, then Voice Calls.

Select a forwarding condition, enter or choose the destination number, and enable the setting.

Samsung’s support instructions give this route but note that menus can differ by model and software version. The instructions are from Samsung Philippines and were last updated June 10, 2024: Samsung’s Galaxy call-forwarding instructions.

Choose when incoming calls should forward
The S10 offers four common voice-call conditions. Your choice determines whether the phone rings first or sends calls directly to the destination.
| Setting | When it forwards | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Always forward | For all incoming calls | Calls go to the destination rather than ringing on the S10. |
| Forward when busy | When the line is busy | Forwarding applies when the line meets the carrier’s busy condition. |
| Forward when unanswered | When you do not answer | The phone can ring first; unanswered calls are then forwarded. |
| Forward when unreachable | When the phone cannot be reached, such as when it is out of coverage | Calls are forwarded when the network cannot reach the handset. |
These are carrier-supported voice-call settings. The phone provides the configuration route, but the carrier determines whether each condition is available.

Turn off a forwarding condition
Return to Phone → More → Settings → Supplementary Services → [the relevant SIM] → Call forwarding → Voice Calls, open the condition you want to stop, and choose Disable. This turns off that condition; check the other conditions separately if you want to remove all forwarding rules.

Confirm the destination number and the condition you enabled, then review the status shown in the phone settings.
If the menu is missing or the change is rejected
Menu labels and availability vary by software and carrier. If the setting is absent or the phone cannot apply the change, contact your carrier: call forwarding is a network service, and the carrier can confirm whether it is supported on your line. A 2019 post in the Google Voice Help Community describes one T-Mobile S10 case where the user sometimes needed carrier-side changes for conditional forwarding. It is an individual report, not an official T-Mobile policy or a guarantee that the same remedy applies to other customers: Google Voice Help Community discussion.
Ask about charges and voicemail
Before relying on forwarding, ask your carrier how it interacts with voicemail and whether forwarding incurs charges. The Japanese au manual for the SCV42 Galaxy S10+ says the subscriber may pay for the forwarded call leg; that is a regional example, not a fee rule for other carriers or countries: au SCV42 Galaxy S10+ manual.
