Seahawks nose tackle Brandon Pili practiced in full on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of Seattle’s Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. He missed Week 3 after exiting the previous game with a concussion. Seattle’s Friday injury report does not list him with an injury designation, but that is not the same as an explicit medical clearance or confirmation that he will play.
What Brandon Pili’s practice update means
Seattle listed Pili as a full participant in both Wednesday and Thursday practices during the Week 4 practice week. The team’s Friday report omits him from its player-status list. That establishes his practice participation and reporting status; it does not establish whether he will be activated for the game or how many snaps he might play. Seattle’s Week 4 injury report, published Oct. 2, 2026, is the primary source for the update.
Why he missed Week 3
Pili exited the preceding game with a concussion and did not play against Washington in Week 3. Seattle’s Week 3 injury report listed him as a nonparticipant Wednesday, limited Thursday and Friday, and questionable for the game, with “concussion/neck” in the designation. The team’s report is the clearest basis for describing the issue; separate secondary coverage used different neck-injury wording, which does not establish a change in Seattle’s diagnosis. Seattle’s Week 3 injury report documents the team’s designations.
Does a full practice mean he will play?
No. Practice participation, an official game designation and actual game participation are separate pieces of information. A full practice indicates he took part without a listed practice limitation that day; no injury designation on Friday is not, by itself, an explicit statement of medical clearance, game-day activation or expected playing time. Seattle’s listed status is useful for tracking the update, but the reports do not confirm whether Pili will take the field against the Chargers.

What is known about his early-season role?
CBS Sports/RotoWire reported that Pili played six defensive snaps and four special-teams snaps across Seattle’s first two weeks. Those figures are secondary-source reporting, not a count independently established here from an official statistics table. They describe his early use and should not be treated as a projection for Week 4. CBS Sports/RotoWire’s Oct. 1 brief also reported his full participation Wednesday and Thursday.
