Yes: Steam currently has a download section for the SCP: Project Pneuma demo. The full game is still listed as “Coming soon” and “not yet available on Steam,” and the store page does not specify exactly what the demo includes. Zatun describes the game as a first-person psychological survival-horror experience set in the aftermath of a catastrophic SCP Foundation containment failure.
Is there an SCP: Project Pneuma demo on Steam?
Steam’s listing shows a “Download SCP: Project Pneuma Demo” section with a download control. The same page labels the full game “Coming soon” and says it is “not yet available on Steam.” The demo listing therefore should not be read as confirmation that the full game has launched. Steam does not describe the demo’s contents, so its chapter coverage, length, and included features are not established by the page.

What kind of game is SCP: Project Pneuma?
Zatun identifies itself as both developer and publisher and describes the game as a single-player, first-person psychological survival-horror title. Players take the role of Dr. Alexander Kolchak, a researcher and one of the few survivors of a disaster at SCP Foundation Site-63. In the game’s story, a secret protocol called Project Echelon has shattered containment around the globe, and Kolchak sets out for Site-19.
The Steam description names SCP-173Z, SCP-096Z, SCP-939Z, and SCP-239Z among the anomalous threats. Its planned play combines stealth, resource scarcity, exploration, investigation, environmental puzzles, journals, voice logs, and hallucinations that distort the world. The listing says some threats are meant to be avoided rather than fought; these are developer descriptions, not independently verified gameplay findings.

What is planned for Early Access, and how long is Chapter I?
Steam’s Early Access FAQ describes Chapter I as the planned Early Access experience. Zatun says it is intended to include a complete first-chapter campaign, multiple environments, investigation mechanics, environmental puzzles, and anomalous encounters. The developer estimates that Chapter I will take most players around 2+ hours. This estimate concerns the planned Chapter I, not necessarily the currently listed demo.
Chapter II is described as in development. Zatun says it plans to add that chapter along with new locations, narrative content, gameplay features, and further anomalous encounters. The developer currently estimates that Early Access will last approximately 6–12 months, but says the timing and scope may change. It also notes that the price may rise as the game leaves Early Access and gains content.
Zatun’s itch.io page advertises more than six hours of atmospheric tension, but that figure is not clearly tied to the same scope as Steam’s Chapter I estimate. The two durations should not be treated as directly comparable.

Steam lists these Windows PC requirements. Compare your system’s current specifications with the store page before downloading or buying; the figures below are the developer’s stated requirements, not results from independent testing.

Steam’s developer-provided content notice flags intense horror, graphic violence, psychological trauma, supernatural encounters, blood, dismemberment, depictions of death, and hallucinations related to mental deterioration. Players sensitive to these themes may want to take that notice into account before downloading the demo.
Should you try the demo or wait?
If you want to sample the game, Steam currently presents a demo download control. If you are deciding whether to buy the full game, note that Steam still lists it as coming soon and does not yet establish the demo’s scope. Check the store page for current availability, compare your PC with the listed requirements, and treat the Early Access content, duration, and schedule as developer plans that may change.
