PC Gamer reported the GameSir Nova Lite 2 at $23.99 on Amazon on October 6, 2026, down from $29.99 for the October Prime Day sale. The manufacturer calls it the Nova 2 Lite. The reported price is time-sensitive, not a guaranteed current offer, so check the Amazon listing before buying.
What the reported Prime Day deal includes
The October 2026 Prime Day event ran from October 6 through the end of October 7, according to PC Gamer’s deal guide. Its October 6 article listed the controller at $23.99, a $6 reduction from the stated $29.99 price. Sale pricing and stock can change, and the report does not establish that the offer remains available now.
At that reported price, the Nova 2 Lite is a low-cost wireless controller with several features that are not always bundled together at the entry level: Hall Effect sticks and triggers, multiple connection modes, two mappable rear buttons, and a mechanical circular D-pad. The deal report does not provide enough evidence for a like-for-like performance verdict against the original Nova Lite or other controllers.

No controller’s sticks should be treated as immune to drift. GameSir says its Hall Effect sticks provide “enhanced recentering performance for smoother control and superior anti-drift capability.” That describes a design intended to resist drift; it is not a guarantee that drift cannot occur. GameSir’s own FAQ also addresses drift symptoms and directs users to calibration instructions.
#1 Best Overall
- Multi-Platform PC Gaming Controller: Working with Switch, PC, Android, and iOS devices via Bluetooth, wired, and wireless dongle connections.
- Hall Effect Joysticks: Delivering enhanced recentering performance for smoother control and superior anti-drift capability. Plus, with anti-friction rings.
- 2-Way Trigger Lock: With trigger stops, gamers can toggle between short and long pull positions. Additionally, gamers can activate hair trigger mode by pressing M+LT/RT (triggers must be in the long pull position).
- 1000Hz Polling Rate: This ensures that your inputs are registered almost instantaneously, minimizing lag and maximizing your performance during competitive play.
- Mechanical Circular D-pad: Designed for quick reactions and accuracy in every direction, this D-pad elevates your gaming experience with superior responsiveness.
The available product information does not establish a quantified failure rate or independently measured lifespan for these sticks. If a controller develops drift, calibration may help diagnose or address the symptoms, but the feature itself should not be read as a promise of zero maintenance or failure.
Features and connection modes
| Feature | What GameSir specifies |
|---|---|

| D-pad and rear controls | Mechanical circular D-pad and two mappable back buttons |

Is it worth buying at the reported price?
The $23.99 figure is a dated deal report, not a standing price. If the Amazon listing still shows that amount, the package of Hall Effect sticks and triggers, three connection options, and remappable rear buttons makes it worth considering for someone who wants those features in an inexpensive controller. Check the listing for the current price, included items, and availability before ordering.
If you are weighing it against the original Nova Lite, compare the live prices and the exact features that matter to you—especially sensor type, connection choices, platform support, and rear-button customization. The cited product information does not establish a controlled, independent comparison of performance or durability between the two models.
