That establishes the broad direction, not the exact mechanics or how the underground connects to the existing game.

When will it release, and how much will it cost?
The Steam listing gives the release date as “To be announced” and marks the DLC as not yet available. No price appears in that listing. A firm launch date or cost cannot be confirmed from the reviewed store information.
Is Core Values a new map or an extension of the existing one?
The description confirms an underground setting on the crust of MASSAGE 2(A-B)b, but it does not say whether that means a connected underground layer, a separate map, or an area reached through a loading transition. The official Satisfactory website describes the base game as first-person factory building and automation on MASSAGE 2(AB)b, with exploration and vehicle travel among its features. It states the base-game map is 30 km²; that figure is not a measurement of the Core Values area.

Will existing saves work, and how will progression fit?
The Steam listing’s base-game requirement does not establish whether current saves will be compatible or whether a new save will be needed. Nor does the reviewed official information explain how the expansion will connect with existing factories, resources, tiers, or progression.
