Satechi’s 145W USB-C 4-Port GaN Travel Charger (model ST-W145GTM), introduced around CES 2024, combines four USB-C ports with interchangeable US, EU, UK, and AU plug adapters. Its headline 145W is the maximum total shared across connected devices—not the output available from every port at once. Two ports can deliver up to 140W each when used alone, making the charger suitable for compatible high-power laptops as well as smaller devices.
What the 145W rating means
Satechi specifies up to 145W of combined output for the charger. That total is shared among connected devices. As Satechi explains in its support documentation, “The charger shares its 145W total across everything connected, giving each device the power it needs.” The 145W figure is a product specification, not an independent performance-test result.
The maximum output for an individual port is different from the overall total. With only one device connected, either of the two higher-power ports can supply up to 140W; the other two can each supply up to 45W. When you connect more devices, available power is divided among them, so do not expect every port to deliver its single-port maximum simultaneously.

These are Satechi’s stated port ratings for single-port use. To reach 140W, the connected device must support that level and the USB-C cable must also be compatible with it. A cable or device with a lower rating can limit charging power.

How to connect several devices
If you are charging a high-power laptop along with other devices, Satechi recommends connecting the highest-power device to PD1 first. Then connect the remaining devices to the other ports. The charger shares its 145W total as devices are added, and individual output changes with the connected load. Exact output for each port with two, three, or four devices connected is not stated in the cited product guidance, so check your device’s charging needs rather than assuming a fixed multi-device allocation.
What comes in the travel package
The package includes interchangeable US, EU, UK, and AU outlet adapters and a mesh carrying bag. Satechi says the charger supports worldwide AC voltage. The adapter set helps with compatible wall sockets, but it does not make the charger a universal fit for every destination: confirm the local socket and voltage requirements for your trip. The charger has USB-C outputs only, so devices that require another connector need an appropriate cable or adapter.

USB-C charging cables are not included. Choose cables that suit both the device and the output you want to use; a compatible cable is necessary to reach the 140W single-port maximum. Satechi maintains a compatibility list that includes multiple MacBook Pro generations. Compatibility does not mean every listed device will charge at the same rate: the device’s power requirements, the port in use, other connected devices, and the cable all affect the result. Check the listing against your exact model or generation before relying on a particular charging speed.

CES 2024 launch and price context
Satechi includes the charger in its CES 2024 product collection, and contemporaneous coverage described it as a CES 2024 launch. A January 11, 2024 9to5Mac report gave a $119.99 regular price and a 20% launch promotion with code CES20. Those are historical launch-period details, not a current deal. The collection page displays $119.99, but that page listing does not establish the price or availability in every region or at every retailer.
