The Samsung WD95T754DBT/SA is a front-loading washer-dryer combo that can wash up to 9.5 kg and dry up to 6 kg. Its main advantage is doing both jobs in one appliance; the key trade-off is that a full wash load may be too large to dry in one go. Samsung lists AddWash, Hygiene Steam, BubbleWash, SmartThings control and a maximum spin speed of 1,400 rpm. Publicly available evidence confirms the specifications, but does not provide enough independent performance data for a definitive verdict on cleaning, drying, efficiency or reliability.
What the WD95T754DBT offers
This is a washer-dryer combo, not the similarly named washer-only WW95T754DBT. Samsung lists a 9.5 kg washing capacity and a 6 kg drying capacity, so the advertised maximum for washing does not carry over to drying. Depending on the load, you may need to remove some laundry before starting the drying phase or run drying as a separate, smaller load. Samsung’s Australian product listing specifies these capacities and the model’s features.
Other listed features include AddWash, Hygiene Steam, BubbleWash and a maximum spin speed of 1,400 rpm. SmartThings provides connected control, but requires the app and a Samsung account; the app and services may change. Basic washing does not depend on using the connected features.
Capacity and the quick-wash claim
Samsung describes Super Speed as a 39-minute wash for a 5 kg load. That is a wash-cycle claim, not a promise to wash and dry 5 kg in 39 minutes. A combined cycle takes longer, and the accessible material does not establish a typical full wash-and-dry duration for this model.

AddWash has a temperature limit
The small AddWash door is intended for adding a forgotten item, but it cannot be opened during every cycle. Samsung says it opens only when the drum temperature is below 50°C. See Samsung’s AddWash guidance for the stated condition.
Size and installation
Samsung gives the machine’s dimensions as 600 × 850 × 600 mm, with the 600 mm depth measured without the projecting door. Overall depth including the door is 690 mm. CHOICE’s listing for its 2021-tested model gives 85 × 60 × 69 cm, consistent with the overall depth. Measure the appliance route and final position, and account for hoses and required clearances rather than relying only on the body-depth figure.

What independent testing and owners’ reviews establish
CHOICE identifies the WD95T754DBT as a model it tested in 2021. Its public page lists specifications and performance categories, but gates its expert score and detailed wash, dry, efficiency, cycle-time, noise and reliability results to members. It lists a 3.5 kg tested capacity, which is distinct from Samsung’s advertised maximum capacities. The public information does not support assigning the machine a CHOICE score or making a specific claim about its measured performance.

CHOICE also lists label figures of 81 L for washer water, 36 L for dryer water, 360 kWh/year for washer energy and 249 kWh/year for dryer energy. These are label values based on prescribed programs and conditions, not a prediction of every household’s actual use. CHOICE lists a two-year warranty and China as the country of origin for its tested listing; warranty terms depend on the market, so check the warranty documentation that applies where you live. Comments include praise for convenience as well as concerns about long cycles, drying performance and reliability; individual accounts do not establish how typical those outcomes are. Samsung’s rating may change as reviews are added or removed.

Buying considerations
- Match the dry capacity to your routine. If you regularly wash close to 9.5 kg and expect to dry the whole load immediately, the 6 kg drying limit means splitting loads can be part of normal use.
- Check the installed depth, not just the cabinet depth. The door brings the listed overall depth to 690 mm; allow space for connections and clearances as well.
- Separate wash timing from combined-cycle timing. The 39-minute Super Speed claim applies to a 5 kg wash, not a full wash-and-dry cycle.
- Verify local support and warranty coverage. The two-year figure appears in CHOICE’s tested listing; confirm the applicable terms for your market and purchase.
Samsung Australia’s comparison table currently lists QuickDrive for WD95T754DBT, while a distributor-hosted model datasheet says “QuickDriveTM | No.” Because those sources conflict, QuickDrive should not be treated as a confirmed feature without checking the exact model revision with Samsung or its current model-specific manual. The discrepancy is documented in the Samsung product listing and Samsung’s model support page.

Overall, the strongest case for this model is the convenience of combining a substantial-capacity washer and a smaller-capacity dryer in one appliance. Whether that trade-off suits you depends on how often you dry laundry, the size of your typical loads and the space available. Public evidence does not settle the model’s comparative cleaning, drying, cycle-time or reliability performance.
