Does approval mean the glasses are launching soon?
No launch date follows from the authorization alone. SamMobile reported on October 1, 2026, that the certification made a later-year launch seem highly probable and described the glasses as ready for launch. That is the outlet’s interpretation of the regulatory milestone, not a launch announcement from Samsung or a conclusion stated by the FCC.

July introduction and Samsung’s AI framing
In a July 31, 2026, Samsung Newsroom interview, the company said it introduced intelligent eyewear at Galaxy Unpacked on July 22. Samsung framed the concept as a possible next mobile AI interface.
