The reported 36% discount was a June 2026 Prime Day promotion, not a confirmed current offer. It applied to Samsung’s 27-inch Odyssey OLED G6 G61SH, model LS27HG612SNXZA: WIRED reported a $385 price, down from $500. On October 9, 2026, Samsung’s US product page showed $599.99, with delivery and store pickup unavailable. Check the exact model and live stock before buying.
Which Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 was discounted?
The deal referred to the Odyssey OLED G6 G61SH, Samsung model LS27HG612SNXZA, also identified as S27HG612SN. It is a 27-inch QHD monitor with a 2560 × 1440 resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, according to WIRED’s June 26, 2026 deal report and Samsung’s product page.
Model codes matter because Samsung uses the Odyssey OLED G6 name for several different monitors. The G61SD (LS27DG610SNXZA) is another 27-inch 240Hz model, while the G60SD is a 360Hz variant and the G60SF is a 500Hz variant. Those are not interchangeable product listings.

On June 26, 2026, WIRED reported the G61SH at $385, 36% below a stated $500 price during Prime Day. WIRED called it the lowest price it had seen at that time. This describes that specific promotion; it does not establish a continuing discount or current retailer price.

- Samsung’s 27” Odyssey OLED G6 Gaming Monitor is engineered for perfection with a QD-OLED Display featuring QHD resolution made to deliver high brightness and a wide range of colors for gameplay
- OLED Safeguard technology supports performance by actively helping to prevent burn-in with a thermal modulation system
- Glare Free Technology keeps screen clear of reflection from external light sources

- HDR10 provides brighter highlights and nuanced shadows for added depth and more realistic scenes
Be careful not to confuse it with another Odyssey G6 deal shown in the same WIRED article. That separate listing was described in the article text as a 360Hz option, and its displayed prices do not establish the price of the 240Hz G61SH.
Where can you get it now?
As accessed on October 9, 2026, Samsung’s US page for the G61SH displayed $599.99, but marked both delivery and in-store pickup unavailable. That page state does not confirm stock at other retailers, and it is not evidence of an active $385 offer. A live exact-model listing elsewhere was not confirmed.
