The Samsung Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) is a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED monitor with a Samsung-rated 165Hz refresh rate. Its “$300 bonus” was an “up to $300” Samsung Credit offer tied to the U.S. preorder period that began June 24, 2025—not cash, not necessarily $300 for every buyer, and not a current offer as of September 30, 2026.
What the Samsung M9 is
The M9, model M90SF, is Samsung’s 32-inch Smart Monitor with a 3,840 × 2,160 QD-OLED panel. Samsung introduced it as the first QD-OLED model in its Smart Monitor family. The company lists a 165Hz refresh rate, 0.03ms response time and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility; these are manufacturer specifications, not results from independent testing in the sources cited here. Smart features and display claims
Samsung lists streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, Samsung Gaming Hub for cloud gaming, Microsoft 365 access and Tizen OS among the monitor’s smart features. It also describes AI Picture Optimizer, 4K AI Upscaling Pro and Active Voice Amplifier Pro. App and feature availability may vary by region.

Those are Samsung’s claims, not independent measurements presented here.

Samsung says free One UI Tizen upgrades are available for Smart Monitor models released in 2023 and later for up to seven years. Check the terms for your region and model before relying on that support period.
What the $300 preorder bonus meant
Samsung Electronics America opened U.S. preorders for its 2025 Smart Monitor lineup on June 24, 2025, advertising up to $300 in Samsung Credit. “Up to” matters: the announcement does not mean every M9 buyer automatically received exactly $300. Samsung Credit is credit, not cash. The offer was part of that launch-period preorder, rather than evidence of an ongoing discount. Samsung’s U.S. preorder announcement contains the offer wording.

Samsung Electronics America’s Head of Display, David Phelps, said the preorder program “includes up to a $300 Samsung credit.” Samsung later announced that the M9 lineup was available to purchase on July 8, 2025. That announcement marked general purchase availability, not continuation of the preorder incentive. Samsung’s July 8, 2025 U.S. availability announcement provides that date.

Who should consider the M9
The M9 combines a high-resolution QD-OLED display and Samsung’s advertised 165Hz refresh rate with built-in smart-monitor functions. Whether that combination is worth its current price depends on how you will use it. Compare it with other monitors using these questions rather than assuming the M9 is the best choice for every setup:
