Only one of the Samsung smartwatch prices reported for Amazon’s October 2026 Prime Big Deal Days is confirmed as a lowest-ever price: the 40mm Galaxy Watch 8 at $220, according to 9to5Google on October 6. The Watch 7 and Watch 8 Classic were close to earlier lows, but not at them. The event ends October 7, so check the live listing’s size, Bluetooth or LTE connection, seller, and price before buying.
Which Samsung Galaxy Watch deals are available?
9to5Google reported these Amazon-linked prices on October 6, 2026. They are dated observations, not guaranteed live prices; product variants and listings can differ.
| Model | Reported price | How it compares with the reported low |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy Watch 7, 40mm | $159 | Near an earlier low, according to 9to5Google; it did not identify this as a new record. |
| Galaxy Watch 7, 44mm | $190 | A few dollars above a low earlier in 2026. |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 40mm | $220 | Matches its lowest-ever price, according to 9to5Google. |
| Galaxy Watch 8, 44mm | $250 | Near its own low, according to 9to5Google. |
| Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, 46mm | $350 | Near, but above, its reported $335 low from Prime Day in June. |
These prices were reported by 9to5Google on October 6. The article also noted a newer Galaxy Watch 9 at $319 directly from Samsung, a current-generation comparison rather than one of the older-model deals.

Are the Galaxy Watch deals really at their lowest prices ever?
No—not across the lineup. 9to5Google corrected an earlier version of its October 6 report to narrow the record-low claim to the 40mm Galaxy Watch 8 at $220. Its Watch 7 and Watch 8 Classic prices were close to earlier lows, not records. That distinction matters: a price being discounted or near a previous low does not make it the lowest ever.

A separate NBC Selected roundup, updated October 6, listed a Galaxy Watch 7 at $159.99 and a Galaxy Watch 8 at $349.99 on Amazon. Its Watch 8 figure differs substantially from 9to5Google’s $220 report. The available reports do not establish whether the difference comes from size, Bluetooth versus LTE, seller, or a listing change. Confirm the exact variant and current price on the product page rather than assuming the two amounts describe the same watch.
NBC Selected says its recommended deals were at least 20% off and at the lowest price in at least three months. That shorter comparison period is not evidence of an all-time low.

How do the Watch 7 and Watch 8 prices compare with list prices?

Should you buy the Watch 7 or Watch 8?
The deal reports support a price comparison, not a categorical verdict about which watch is better. The 40mm Watch 8 has the clearest price case if the live listing is still $220 and you want that generation. The Watch 7 may suit a buyer prioritizing a lower reported spend, particularly at the 40mm price of $159, but the report does not establish that it is at a record low.
Before choosing, compare the exact generation and case size, whether you need Bluetooth or LTE, the live price against the model-specific price history, and how the watch will fit. Deal coverage does not provide an independent full feature or battery test, so it cannot establish a winner on those grounds.

What is the difference between 40mm and 44mm?
The sizes refer to the watch case, so the practical distinction is fit and how much watch you want on your wrist. The reported prices also differ by size: Watch 7 was $159 for 40mm and $190 for 44mm; Watch 8 was $220 for 40mm and $250 for 44mm. Try to match size when comparing prices, and check the listing title and specifications because a discount for one size does not necessarily apply to the other.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIs the Watch 8 Classic worth considering?
The 46mm Watch 8 Classic was reported at $350, close to but above its $335 low from June Prime Day. Its rotating bezel is a distinguishing form-factor feature noted in the deal coverage. Consider it if that control style is important to you; the cited pricing does not establish that it is a better value or has better battery life than the standard Watch 8.
