The key difference is size—and “Galaxy Tab S10” needs clarification. Samsung’s premium S10 tablets are the 12.4-inch Galaxy Tab S10+ and 14.6-inch Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra; there is no standard 11-inch premium Galaxy Tab S10 in that launch lineup. The standard Galaxy Tab S11 is 11 inches, so the fairest named comparison is S11 versus S10+. The S11 is the newer, smaller model; the S10+ gives you a larger screen and an extra rear camera.
Which Galaxy Tab S10 model are you comparing?
Samsung announced the premium Galaxy Tab S10+ and Tab S10 Ultra on September 27, 2024. The standard Galaxy Tab S11 is an 11-inch tablet, while the S10+ is the closest premium S10 counterpart by name. The S10 Ultra is a larger 14.6-inch model, not a same-size alternative. Samsung also sells S10 FE models; those are separate devices, so check the full model name when comparing specifications or prices.
The comparison below focuses on the standard Tab S11 and Tab S10+. Specifications are drawn from Samsung’s US product and comparison material, and may differ by market, connectivity model, or configuration.

Samsung’s playback figures are “up to” estimates, not results from an independent head-to-head battery test. Actual runtime depends on use and conditions. Storage configurations and card limits can vary by region and exact model.

What the differences mean in everyday use
Screen size and portability
The S10+ has a 12.4-inch display, compared with the S11’s 11-inch screen. That extra screen area can make the S10+ more comfortable for split-screen work, reading documents, or watching video, while the smaller S11 is the more compact choice. The panels also have different resolutions, so the larger number on the S10+ does not by itself establish how sharp either display looks; resolution should be considered alongside screen size.
Processor and software
Samsung lists a Dimensity 9400+ in the S11 and a Dimensity 9300+ in the S10+. That makes the S11 the newer listed chipset generation, but the specifications here do not establish a measured performance gap. Samsung’s current US S11 material lists Android 16 and One UI 8.0, while the S10 series launched with Android 14. Those are current-page and launch details, respectively—not a guarantee of how long either tablet will continue to receive updates.

Cameras
The S10+ adds an 8 MP ultra-wide rear camera alongside its 13 MP main camera. The S11’s listed rear camera is 13 MP. If you rarely use a tablet’s rear camera, this may not matter; if you want a wider field of view, the S10+ has the additional lens.
Battery, durability, pen, and storage
Samsung lists up to 18 hours of video playback for the S11 and up to 16 hours for the S10+. Both tablets have an IP68 rating in Samsung’s US material and include an S Pen. Samsung US lists microSD expansion up to 2 TB for the S11 and up to 1.5 TB for the S10+ in its current comparison. The playback estimates and storage limits are manufacturer specifications, not a guarantee that every regional SKU has identical capabilities.

Which tablet should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy Tab S11 if…
- You want the newer standard-size model and prefer an 11-inch tablet.
- You want the newer listed processor and the software version shown on Samsung’s current US S11 material.
- You value a more compact screen size over the S10+’s additional display area and rear ultra-wide camera.
Consider the Galaxy Tab S10+ if…
- A 12.4-inch screen is more useful for your reading, work, or entertainment.
- You want an additional rear ultra-wide camera.
- Its current price and availability compare favorably with the S11 for the exact configuration you need.
There is no universally better value without checking current prices and availability. Compare like-for-like storage and connectivity options, then confirm the exact regional model. If you are considering the 14.6-inch S10 Ultra, treat it as a larger size tier. If a listing says S10 FE or S10 FE+, compare that full model name rather than assuming it has S10+ specifications. Optional keyboards are separate accessories; check compatibility and the seller’s bundle details.
