The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy F70 Pro 5G target different price tiers in India. Samsung announced the S26 FE at ₹79,999 for 8GB/256GB in 2026; Samsung’s F70 Pro buying page showed a starting price of ₹39,999 for an 8GB model, but its displayed price information was inconsistent. Treat that F70 Pro figure as unconfirmed until you check the current checkout price and storage variant. On specifications, the S26 FE has a more versatile listed rear-camera setup and a slimmer, lighter body, while the F70 Pro has the larger stated battery. Those figures alone do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use.
India price difference: what Samsung lists
These are India-market figures, not global prices. Samsung’s India launch announcement dated 14 September 2026 listed the Galaxy S26 FE at ₹79,999 for 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Samsung’s India F70 Pro buying-page result showed “From ₹39,999” for an 8GB configuration, but the page also rendered conflicting currency and stock information. Check Samsung’s live checkout page for the current price, availability and exact storage variant before treating the F70 Pro price as settled.
| Phone | India price evidence | Memory configuration | Price status |
|---|---|---|---|
| Galaxy S26 FE | ₹79,999 | 8GB/256GB | Samsung India launch price, announced 14 September 2026; live offers may differ. |
| Galaxy F70 Pro 5G | From ₹39,999 shown | 8GB model; storage for this price is not established | Samsung India buying-page result accessed in 2026; page rendering also contained conflicting currency and stock details. Verify at checkout. |
Because the F70 Pro figure is not reliable enough to confirm a current transaction price or matching storage tier, a precise price difference would be misleading. Samsung Singapore separately lists the S26 FE at S$1,018 for 8GB/128GB, S$1,168 for 8GB/256GB and S$1,468 for 8GB/512GB; those Singapore recommended retail prices should not be compared directly with Indian rupees.

Display: both are 120Hz, but the panels differ
Samsung specifies FHD+ resolution and refresh rates up to 120Hz for both phones. The S26 FE uses a Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel and lists 1,900 nits brightness; the F70 Pro uses Super AMOLED. The available F70 Pro specification does not provide a comparable brightness figure, so the numbers do not establish a brightness winner. Screen size is listed as 6.7 inches for the S26 FE; Samsung gives the F70 Pro screen in centimetres, distinguishing its full rectangle measurement from the rounded-corner measurement.

Performance: processor names are not benchmark results
The S26 FE is listed with Samsung’s Exynos 2500. Samsung’s F70 Pro variant information identifies a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, while its India product page states octa-core CPU speeds of 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz. No comparable benchmark or gaming test is established by those specifications. They are not enough to say which phone is faster in demanding apps or games.
Cameras: the S26 FE lists a dedicated telephoto camera
The S26 FE’s listed rear system includes an ultra-wide camera, a wide camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), and a telephoto camera with OIS and 3× optical zoom. Samsung lists a 50MP, 5MP and 2MP rear-camera configuration with OIS for the F70 Pro, but the cited material does not identify a telephoto lens. Both phones list a 12MP front camera. Resolution and camera count describe hardware, not image quality; the published specifications do not establish a real-world photo or video winner.

Battery and charging: capacity is not runtime
Samsung lists a 4,900mAh battery for the S26 FE and 6,000mAh typical capacity for the F70 Pro. Samsung also gives 5,830mAh as the rated minimum for a listed F70 Pro variant. These capacities are not an endurance test, and the larger stated figure does not guarantee longer everyday battery life.
Samsung’s F70 Pro page claims “24+ hours of YouTube streaming” under controlled conditions. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independent side-by-side test or a promise of typical daily use. Samsung’s cited India S26 FE launch source does not establish a charging rate, so a direct charging-speed comparison is not available. For the F70 Pro, Samsung says its 45W fast charger is sold separately.

Size, weight and software support
On Samsung’s listed measurements, the F70 Pro is 0.8mm taller, 1.3mm wider and 0.7mm thicker than the S26 FE, and weighs 13g more. That makes the S26 FE the slimmer and lighter option by the published figures.
Samsung lists six OS generations and six years of security updates from first global launch for the F70 Pro; one Samsung page states that security updates are valid until 31 July 2032. The cited material does not establish an equivalent current S26 FE policy, so it does not support a claim that either phone has longer software support.
