AT&T advertises the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE for under $3 per month for eligible customers who add a line and order online, with no trade-in required. That is a monthly installment offer—not proof that the phone costs $150 total. AT&T’s announcement does not provide enough detail to calculate the full device cost or the added cost of service, so check the current terms before treating it as a $150 deal.
What AT&T’s Galaxy S26 FE offer includes
AT&T’s September 4, 2026 announcement describes several purchase paths. The under-$3 monthly offer is for new and existing customers who add a line and order online; AT&T says no trade-in is required. The announcement gives different monthly prices for two other paths:

Why the $150 total is not verified
A low monthly payment can depend on bill credits applied over an installment period. To establish a $150 device total, you need the full payment schedule and credits, not just the advertised monthly figure. You also need to account for any required plan or line cost, taxes and fees, and whether credits continue if you leave AT&T before the agreement ends. The available AT&T announcement does not supply all of those details, so it cannot confirm a $150 total.

Before ordering, check these items in the live offer terms:
- The installment length and total device payments before credits.
- The amount and timing of bill credits, and whether they require a qualifying plan or other conditions.
- The cost of adding and keeping the required line, compared with the plan you would otherwise choose.
- Taxes, fees, and any amount due at checkout.
- Whether canceling, changing plans, or upgrading early ends future credits or leaves a device balance.
How the offer compares with Samsung’s listed prices
At the time of the listed 2026 U.S. product page, Samsung showed the unlocked Galaxy S26 FE at $699.99 for 128GB and $799.99 for 256GB. Its page also displayed separate carrier promotions of up to $900 in Verizon bill credits and up to $1,100 in T-Mobile bill credits, subject to carrier terms. Those advertised maximum credits are not the phone’s retail price and are not directly comparable with AT&T’s monthly offer.

For a fair comparison, calculate the device payments after credits and include the incremental cost of service required by each offer. Samsung’s U.S. Galaxy S26 FE listing shows its prices and carrier offer tiles; availability, prices, and terms can change.

What you get with the Galaxy S26 FE
Samsung’s 2026 product announcement describes a 6.7-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with refresh rates up to 120Hz, an Exynos 2500 processor, and a 4,900mAh typical-capacity battery. The rear cameras are a 50MP wide camera with optical image stabilization, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and stabilization; the front camera is 12MP. Samsung also lists 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and IP68 water and dust resistance under specified laboratory conditions. Specifications and availability may vary by market, carrier, or model.

Samsung says the S26 FE is eligible for seven generations of operating-system upgrades and seven years of security updates from its global launch. Update timing can vary by model, network provider, and market. The manufacturer’s Galaxy S26 FE announcement also notes that the 45W power adapter is sold separately and recommends Samsung-approved chargers and cables.

The AT&T offer may suit you if you already want AT&T service, need an additional line, and the full credit and installment terms work for your plans. It is less straightforward if you would add an expensive line only to reduce the phone payment, or might switch carriers or upgrade before credits finish. Compare your expected total device and service costs with buying unlocked at Samsung’s listed price; do not judge the deal by the monthly device amount alone.
