The Samsung Galaxy S25+ has the larger, higher-resolution display on the cited specifications, while the UAE-specification OPPO Reno16 5G (model CPH2865) lists a larger battery and higher maximum charging wattage. Their camera setups differ, but specifications alone do not establish which takes better photos or performs faster. A reliable price difference cannot be stated without current prices for both phones in the same market and configuration.
Which regional Reno16 and S25+ specifications are compared?
Reno16 configurations and prices vary by market. For hardware, the OPPO figures below are for the UAE-listed Reno16 5G, model CPH2865. The Samsung figures come from Samsung’s India specifications page and its Singapore newsroom announcement; these are manufacturer-published regional specifications, not results from comparative testing. OPPO UAE lists the Reno16 5G specifications, while Samsung India lists S25+ specifications.
| Specification | Samsung Galaxy S25+ | OPPO Reno16 5G, UAE model CPH2865 |
|---|---|---|
| Display | 6.7-inch-class QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X; refresh rate up to 120 Hz | 6.32-inch FHD+ AMOLED; 120 Hz |
| Processor | Octa-core CPU; Samsung’s cited India page lists CPU speeds | Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 |
| Rear cameras | 50 MP main, 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, 12 MP ultra-wide | 50 MP main, 50 MP ultra-wide, 50 MP telephoto; OPPO lists 3.5x optical video zoom capability |
| Typical battery capacity | 4,900 mAh | 6,700 mAh |
| Charging information | Samsung recommends its original 45 W adapter and cable in its Singapore announcement | Up to 80 W SUPERVOOC, per OPPO UAE specifications |
| Cited memory and storage | India page lists 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage | UAE specifications cited here do not establish a single configuration for all markets |
How do the displays and phone sizes differ?
On the cited figures, the S25+ is the larger-screen, higher-resolution option: its 6.7-inch-class display is QHD+, compared with the Reno16’s 6.32-inch FHD+ panel. Both specifications list refresh rates up to 120 Hz. The smaller listed display may be a factor if you prefer a more compact screen, but display size alone does not establish how either phone feels in hand.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
The S25+ combines a 50 MP main camera with a 10 MP telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom and a 12 MP ultra-wide. The UAE Reno16 specification page lists 50 MP cameras for its main, ultra-wide, and telephoto rear cameras, plus 3.5x optical video zoom capability. These are different hardware descriptions, not a verdict on image quality: megapixel counts and zoom specifications do not replace comparable photo and video testing.

Which phone has the larger battery, and what about charging?
OPPO lists a 6,700 mAh typical battery for the UAE Reno16 5G; Samsung lists 4,900 mAh typical for the S25+. OPPO specifies charging up to 80 W SUPERVOOC. Samsung’s Singapore newsroom recommends an original 45 W adapter and cable for the S25+. Capacity and maximum charging wattage do not establish real-world battery life or charging time, and no comparative measurements are available here. See Samsung’s Singapore announcement and OPPO’s UAE specification page for the manufacturers’ details.
Can the specifications establish which phone is faster?
No. The cited S25+ page provides CPU core and speed information, while OPPO identifies the Reno16’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor. Without comparable benchmarks or controlled performance testing, those specifications are not enough to declare one phone faster across everyday use, gaming, or other workloads.

What is the OPPO Reno16 price, and what is the price difference?
OPPO’s India prices illustrate why the market and date matter. The India product details page stated that its prices were correct on August 31, 2026 and subject to change. OPPO’s earlier launch announcement gave lower launch prices for the same memory and storage configurations; it said sales began July 9, 2026.

OPPO’s India figures come from its India Reno16 details page and India launch announcement; the UAE figure is from its GCC launch announcement. The cited sources do not establish a comparable current S25+ price, so they do not support a numerical price difference. Which phone should you choose based on these specifications?
- Consider the S25+ if the larger QHD+ display or its listed 50 MP main, 10 MP 3x optical telephoto, and 12 MP ultra-wide camera configuration best fits your priorities.
- Consider the UAE-spec Reno16 5G if its smaller listed display, 6,700 mAh typical battery, or up-to-80 W charging specification is more relevant to you.
- Do not choose on the assumption that one is proven faster, lasts longer in real use, takes better photos, or is cheaper: those conclusions require comparable testing or same-market, same-configuration current prices.
