The Samsung Galaxy S25 is the better fit if you want a compact, light phone; the OPPO Find X9 offers a larger display and substantially higher stated battery capacity. Neither specification sheet establishes which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in everyday use. A reliable price difference also depends on your country, storage configuration and current local listings.

Which phone is smaller and easier to handle?
The Galaxy S25 is considerably smaller and lighter. Samsung lists it at 162 g, compared with OPPO India’s approximate 203 g for the Find X9. The Galaxy is also shorter and narrower, making it the more natural choice if one-handed handling, lighter pockets or a smaller handset matter most.
The Find X9’s larger body accommodates a 16.74 cm (about 6.59-inch) display, versus the Galaxy’s 15.64 cm (about 6.2 inches). That extra screen area may suit reading, video and multitasking, but it comes with a larger, heavier phone. Consider handling both devices in person if size is a deciding factor.

Battery capacity and charging: what the figures do—and do not—tell you
OPPO lists the Find X9 with a 7,025 mAh typical battery and a 6,840 mAh rated capacity; Samsung lists a 4,000 mAh typical battery for the Galaxy S25. Those are capacity figures, not a direct measure of screen-on time. Real-world endurance depends on factors such as display settings, network conditions, software and workload, and the available evidence does not establish a standardized head-to-head battery result.
OPPO advertises 80W SUPERVOOC wired charging and 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging for the Find X9. These are manufacturer ratings, not independently measured charging times. Check local charger compatibility and what the retail box includes before buying; OPPO’s India page lists a charger in the box, while Samsung India says the Galaxy S25 does not include a travel adapter. Camera hardware is not the same as photo quality
OPPO’s India specifications list three 50 MP rear cameras—a wide, ultra-wide and telephoto module—plus a 2 MP monochrome module. The surfaced third-party comparison lists a 50 MP main, 12 MP ultra-wide and 10 MP telephoto camera for the Galaxy S25. More megapixels do not by themselves demonstrate better photos: sensor performance, lenses, processing and shooting conditions also matter. Compare sample photos and video from the exact regional models if camera quality is central to your choice.

OPPO’s global announcement discusses Hasselblad collaboration and a 200 MP telephoto in the Find X9 series, but that claim refers to the series, including the Pro. Performance and software: compare the exact models
The Galaxy S25 uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, while the Find X9 uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, according to the cited India product materials. Chip names alone do not establish which phone is faster in a particular task; no matched independent performance tests are available here. Software is also presented differently across the sources: OPPO lists ColorOS 16.0, while the third-party comparison lists Android 15 and One UI for the Galaxy. Software versions can change with updates and vary by region. Verify the current version and the manufacturer’s support terms for the exact market before purchasing; a comparative update-support duration is not established by these specifications.
What is the price difference?
A current, like-for-like price gap cannot be established without a country, matching storage tier and current Find X9 retail price. For India only, Samsung’s storefront showed the Galaxy S25 at ₹74,999 for 128 GB storage with 12 GB RAM and ₹84,999 for 256 GB storage with 12 GB RAM on October 7, 2026. These are observed storefront prices, not a guarantee of current price or stock. The cited OPPO India specifications page does not state a price, so it cannot support a direct price comparison.

OPPO announced global availability for the Find X9 beginning in early November 2025 through official OPPO stores, authorized retailers and partner carriers. That announcement does not confirm current stock in any particular country. OPPO’s India specification page identifies the model as CPH2797 and lists 12 GB + 256 GB and 16 GB + 512 GB configurations; its global announcement describes additional configurations, including 12 GB + 512 GB. Samsung India’s storefront presented 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB options, each with 12 GB RAM. Confirm the regional model, storage and local network compatibility with the seller before ordering.
