The Galaxy S25 is the smaller, lighter choice, with a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera and wireless charging. Samsung’s India-listed Galaxy M47 5G is larger and has a higher rated battery capacity. Their prices depend on date, seller and configuration: 91mobiles displayed Amazon-linked India indications of ₹66,000 for the S25 and ₹35,999 for the M47, while a June 2026 report put the M47’s launch price at ₹22,999. Those are different pricing snapshots, not a dependable current price gap.

Which phone is easier to carry and use?
The S25 is substantially narrower and 44g lighter on the published specifications, making it the more pocketable option on paper. Its 6.2-inch screen is also smaller. The M47’s 6.66-inch display offers more viewing area, but its 78.2mm width and 206g weight make it a larger device to hold. Dimensions and weight describe the hardware; they do not establish how comfortable either phone will feel to a particular person.
Which has the more versatile camera setup?
The S25 has a dedicated 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, in addition to its main and ultrawide cameras. Samsung India lists the M47 with a 50MP main camera, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP macro, with no telephoto in the comparison listing. That gives the S25 a distinct listed option for optical zoom. Megapixel counts and camera specifications alone do not establish which phone takes better photos overall; the available information does not include comparable hands-on image testing.

The M47’s rated capacity is 6,000mAh typical, compared with 4,000mAh typical for the S25. That is a capacity difference, not a measured runtime comparison: actual battery life also depends on use and other conditions. On charging, the S25 supports up to 25W wired charging, fast wireless charging and Wireless PowerShare. Its power adapter and data cable are sold separately, and Samsung recommends a 25W adapter. The M47 listing is described as supporting 45W wired charging and no wireless charging by 91mobiles.

What is the price difference in India?
There is no single stable price gap in the available figures because they refer to different dates and contexts. 91mobiles displayed Amazon-linked India price indications of ₹66,000 for the S25 and ₹35,999 for the M47 when its comparison page was reviewed in 2026. These are volatile third-party indications, not guaranteed checkout prices. Separately, Cinco Días/Smartlife reported on June 29, 2026 that the M47 would launch at ₹22,999, with sales beginning July 4, 2026. That is launch-time pricing, not a current offer.
Before comparing offers, match the country, RAM and storage configuration, seller and promotion, and check the final checkout price. The S25 has multiple storage options, while the cited M47 price references do not establish a like-for-like configuration across those listings. Samsung’s cited M47 product page is for India; these sources do not establish its availability in other markets.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the S25 if you want a compact, lighter phone, a dedicated 3x optical telephoto camera or wireless charging.
- Consider the M47 if you prefer a larger display and higher rated battery capacity, and its India-market configuration and current price suit your needs.
- Compare carefully if price is decisive: use current listings for the same market and configuration rather than treating launch pricing and later third-party indications as equivalent.
