The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is the stronger fit if you want a larger, higher-resolution display, an S Pen and a clearly stated long-term software-support commitment. The vivo X200T lists a larger battery, faster wired charging and three 50MP rear cameras. There is no reliable single price gap to quote: the available India prices are for different storage variants, and the vivo store listing was out of stock when checked.
India price difference: compare matching variants and live stock
Available prices are snapshots, not a definitive current comparison. Samsung India announced the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage at ₹129,999 at launch in January 2025. The vivo India store showed ₹69,999 for a selected 12GB/512GB X200T listing, against a displayed MRP of ₹87,999; that listing was marked out of stock when accessed. Because storage differs and the vivo listing was unavailable, those figures do not establish a like-for-like price difference.
A third-party comparison page displayed ₹99,999 at Amazon for the Samsung and ₹59,999 at Flipkart for the vivo when accessed. These are retailer-price snapshots, not guaranteed current offers, and they also compare different storage capacities. Check the same-day price, exact storage tier, seller, stock and warranty terms before deciding. Samsung India’s Galaxy S25 Ultra page, the vivo India X200T product page and the 91mobiles comparison provide the cited product and snapshot details.

Specifications are from the manufacturers’ India product information and launch announcement: Samsung, Samsung’s January 2025 launch announcement and vivo. Product details can vary by region.
#1 Best Overall
- Stunning 6.9″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate, ultra‑bright up to ~2600 nits, HDR support, “Vision Booster,” and adaptive color tone — giving vivid colours, great outdoor visibility, and super‑smooth scrolling.
- Powerful internals: it runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3 nm) chip, with 12 GB (or in some markets up to 16 GB) RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage — offering significantly improved CPU/GPU/NPU performance, especially for AI tasks, gaming, and heavy multitasking.
- Advanced quad‑camera system: 200 MP wide main sensor, plus a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP periscope telephoto (5× optical zoom), and a 10 MP telephoto (3× optical zoom) — giving flexibility from ultra‑wide through detailed telephoto shots, and strong performance in varied lighting.
- 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast wired charging, wireless charging (Qi2) and reverse wireless charging — balancing long battery life with flexible charging options.
- Durable, premium build: Titanium‑frame body, protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, with IP68 dust/water resistance, ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint sensor, modern connectivity (5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth, UWB, USB‑C), and long‑term software support (Android 15 / One UI 7, promised 7 major OS/security updates).
Display: Samsung has the larger, higher-resolution panel on paper
The S25 Ultra’s listed screen is 6.9 inches with a 3120 × 1440 resolution; the X200T’s is 6.67 inches at 2800 × 1260. Both list a 120Hz refresh rate. Samsung therefore offers more screen area and pixels according to the published specifications, but those figures alone do not establish which display looks better in everyday use.
Cameras: compare focal-length coverage, not megapixel totals
Samsung lists four rear cameras, including separate 3x and 5x telephoto lenses, alongside a 200MP main camera and 50MP ultra-wide. vivo lists three 50MP rear cameras: a main camera with optical image stabilization, an autofocus ultra-wide and a periscope telephoto with a 70mm-equivalent focal length. Samsung specifies 3x and 5x optical zoom, 2x and 10x optical-quality zoom, and up to 100x digital zoom; vivo advertises up to 100x ZEISS HyperZoom.

These specifications describe different camera arrangements, not a proven image-quality ranking. Megapixel counts and zoom labels cannot substitute for comparable photos and video tested under the same conditions, so there is no evidence here to declare a camera winner.
Battery and charging: vivo lists more capacity and faster wired charging
Samsung lists a 5,000mAh typical battery; vivo lists 6,200mAh typical and 6,060mAh rated capacity. vivo also advertises up to 90W wired charging and up to 40W wireless FlashCharge, with the wireless maximum requiring its official charger. Charging power varies with usage, according to vivo. Capacity and peak charging wattage do not establish real-world battery life or how quickly a phone charges in every situation; no independent head-to-head battery test is established here.

Software support: Samsung publishes the clearer duration
Samsung’s January 2025 India launch announcement says the S25 series receives seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. The inspected vivo product page lists Android 16 and OriginOS 6 and uses the phrase “5-Year Smooth Experience,” but it does not spell out a matching number of OS upgrades or a dated security-update schedule. That wording should not be treated as an equivalent update guarantee.
Handling and productivity: weight versus S Pen
The X200T is listed at 203g in Seaside Lilac and 205g in Stellar Black, compared with 218g for the S25 Ultra. That makes the vivo the lighter listed phone. Samsung’s differentiator is S Pen support, which may matter if you take handwritten notes, mark up documents or prefer a built-in stylus. Which trade-off matters more depends on how you use and carry your phone.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if the larger, higher-resolution display, S Pen support or Samsung’s explicitly stated seven-generation OS and seven-year security-update commitment is most important to you.
- Consider the vivo X200T if its listed larger battery capacity, up-to-90W wired charging, three 50MP rear cameras or lower listed weight better match your priorities. Confirm the exact variant, seller and availability before relying on a price.
- For either phone, compare current India prices for the same storage capacity and verify seller and warranty terms. The cited retail prices are snapshots, not a controlled, same-variant price comparison.
This is a comparison of published specifications and cited price snapshots, not a hands-on review or controlled performance test. Network and eSIM support can depend on region and carrier; vivo also notes that charging power varies with usage.
