Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is available with 16GB of RAM, but only in the 1TB storage configuration. The four markets identified for that tier are South Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Samsung confirms the configuration on its Korean and Hong Kong product pages, while its launch announcement cautions that memory options vary by market.
Where is the 16GB Galaxy S25 Ultra available?
The 16GB RAM + 1TB storage configuration has been reported in South Korea, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Samsung’s Korean specifications page and Hong Kong product page confirm that tier in those markets. The four-market list comes from SamMobile’s availability report; the cited Samsung pages do not independently confirm all four locations.
Samsung’s global launch announcement said the Galaxy S25 series would be widely available starting February 7, 2025, but also noted that memory options vary by market. That broad launch date does not mean the 16GB version is sold everywhere.

What does the 16GB model include?
The extra memory is paired with 1TB of internal storage; the reported configuration is not a 16GB option across every storage tier. For context, the regional listings also describe the S25 Ultra’s core hardware:
#1 Best Overall
- Stunning 6.9″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate, ultra‑bright up to ~2600 nits, HDR support, “Vision Booster,” and adaptive color tone — giving vivid colours, great outdoor visibility, and super‑smooth scrolling.
- Powerful internals: it runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3 nm) chip, with 12 GB (or in some markets up to 16 GB) RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage — offering significantly improved CPU/GPU/NPU performance, especially for AI tasks, gaming, and heavy multitasking.
- Advanced quad‑camera system: 200 MP wide main sensor, plus a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP periscope telephoto (5× optical zoom), and a 10 MP telephoto (3× optical zoom) — giving flexibility from ultra‑wide through detailed telephoto shots, and strong performance in varied lighting.
- 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast wired charging, wireless charging (Qi2) and reverse wireless charging — balancing long battery life with flexible charging options.
- Durable, premium build: Titanium‑frame body, protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, with IP68 dust/water resistance, ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint sensor, modern connectivity (5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth, UWB, USB‑C), and long‑term software support (Android 15 / One UI 7, promised 7 major OS/security updates).
- Display: 3120×1440 Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
- Rear cameras: 200MP main, 50MP and 10MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide cameras; the Korean specifications list 8K video recording.
- Battery and input: 5,000mAh battery and S Pen support.
- Storage expansion: Samsung Hong Kong says the phone does not support microSD cards. Buyers who keep large photo, video or app libraries therefore need to choose enough internal storage at purchase.
These specifications are listed on Samsung’s Korean specifications page; the microSD detail is from its Hong Kong product page.
Should you import one?
An imported 16GB/1TB model may be an option if it is not sold in your country, but the market name alone does not establish that it will work fully with your local carrier or come with local support. Before ordering, confirm the exact model number and check the following with the seller and your carrier:

Does the extra RAM change what the phone can do?
The confirmed difference addressed here is the memory/storage configuration: 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. The cited sources do not establish that this regional variant has other performance or feature differences from S25 Ultra configurations sold elsewhere, so the 16GB figure alone should not be treated as proof of a particular speed or battery-life advantage.
