Which phone has the better display?
On paper, Motorola lists the higher-resolution panel and faster refresh rate: QHD+ at 144Hz versus Samsung’s 6.7-inch FHD+ display at up to 120Hz. Those figures favor the Edge 70 Max for shoppers prioritizing resolution and refresh rate, but they do not establish which screen looks brighter, more accurate or clearer in everyday use. Neither cited specification page provides a controlled comparison of those qualities.
Which is better for battery life and charging?
The Edge 70 Max has the larger stated battery capacity: 7,100mAh versus 4,900mAh typical capacity for the S25 FE (4,755mAh rated). Capacity alone does not predict how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use, and there is no matched battery test in the cited material.
Motorola also lists 90W wired charging, compared with Samsung’s up-to-45W wired charging. Motorola’s claim of “power for the day in 6 minutes” is conditional: its footnote says it requires the 90W TurboPower charger, sold separately, and describes up to 12 hours of battery life for median users under specified settings and conditions. It should not be read as a universal charge-time guarantee.
For wireless charging, Motorola lists 25W Qi2 magnetic charging. Samsung lists up to 15W wireless charging and says a compatible case is required for Qi2. Check that the case and charger you choose support the phone’s stated charging method and rate.

Rank #3
- The Galaxy S25 FE features a large, immersive Dynamic AMOLED display with smooth refresh rate and enhanced brightness, delivering vivid colors and sharp clarity whether you're streaming, browsing, or using it outdoors.
Which has the longer software commitment?
Samsung’s product information promises up to seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates for the Galaxy S25 FE. Samsung qualifies that timing and availability may vary by model and market, so this is not a guaranteed delivery calendar for every buyer.
The reviewed Motorola product page does not state a software-support duration. That absence is not proof that Motorola provides no updates; it means the cited page does not establish a comparable support period. Buyers who need a published long-term commitment have clearer evidence for the S25 FE.

Do the processor names show which phone is faster?
Samsung specifies an Exynos 2400, while Motorola specifies a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. The processor names identify the chips, but no matched benchmark or gaming test is available here, so they do not establish a real-world performance winner. Choose based on independently verified tests for your intended apps or games rather than treating the model names alone as a result.
Quick Recap
Which phone should you choose?
- Choose the Galaxy S25 FE if Samsung’s published up-to-seven-generation OS and seven-year security-update commitment is your deciding factor.
- Choose the Edge 70 Max if its listed 7,100mAh capacity, QHD+ 144Hz display, 90W wired charging or 25W Qi2 magnetic charging best match your priorities.
- Compare local prices carefully: use the same storage capacity and verify the current seller and offer. The cited price difference is an India-market snapshot, not a global value verdict.
