On the Indian price snapshot we could verify, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is about ₹12,510 more expensive than the iQOO 15R on Amazon India. The gap is a calculation from two displayed listing prices, not an official price difference, and it may already have changed. The two phones also differ in storage, battery, charging and camera design, so the cheaper phone is not automatically the better buy. This article sets out the prices, the specifications that can be compared, and the points that still need checking before you buy.
The India price snapshot
The comparison source displayed the Galaxy S25 Edge at ₹66,500 and the iQOO 15R at ₹53,990, both on Amazon India. Subtracting one from the other gives ₹12,510. The source does not state the date it was crawled, and it does not confirm that both listings use the same storage and RAM configuration, the same seller, or the same offers. Treat the figures as a snapshot from one listing page, not as list prices.

Why the Indonesia price is not part of this comparison
iQOO’s Indonesia release gives a starting price of Rp7,299,000 for the 15R. That figure is official, but it applies to Indonesia, carries Indonesian taxes and distribution costs, and is quoted in rupiah. Converting it into Indian rupees would require an exchange rate on a specific date and an account of local pricing, neither of which is part of this comparison. Use the Indonesia price only as a launch reference, not as a substitute for the Indian listing.

The display refresh rate needs a check
iQOO’s product overview describes the 15R’s screen as a 1.5K AMOLED panel with a 144 Hz refresh rate. The official parameter page lists 130 Hz for normal scenes. Both statements come from iQOO, so the conflict is not a matter of one source being wrong in general. It is more likely that the rate depends on the content being shown, the mode selected, or the regional version of the phone. Until you confirm the figure for the exact model and region you plan to buy, do not rely on either number alone.

Cameras: what the megapixel counts do and do not tell you
On paper, the Galaxy S25 Edge has a 200 MP main sensor and a 12 MP ultra-wide, while the iQOO 15R has a 50 MP main and an 8 MP ultra-wide. Those numbers describe the sensors, not the photos. Sensor size, pixel binning, lens quality, image processing and software tuning all affect the final image, and a higher megapixel count does not reliably mean better results in low light or on a phone screen. Compare the two phones using sample photos taken in the conditions you shoot in most, from reviews that test both devices side by side.

The iQOO 15R’s official parameter page lists a 7,600 mAh typical battery with 100 W wired charging. The comparison page lists the Galaxy S25 Edge at 3,900 mAh with 25 W wired charging. The Samsung figures come from a secondary source and have not been checked against Samsung’s own specification page, so treat them as provisional. The gap between the two is large enough that it matters for daily use, but the battery’s real endurance depends on screen settings, workload and network conditions, which specifications do not capture.

How to compare the two prices before buying
- Open each phone’s Amazon India listing and note the storage and RAM configuration, because the displayed price applies only to that variant.
- Check the seller name and whether the listing is fulfilled by Amazon, since seller terms, warranty and return rules can differ.
- Compare the final price after bank or card offers, exchange deals and delivery charges, not only the headline figure.
- Confirm the regional specifications on Samsung’s India product page and iQOO’s India product page, especially the display refresh rate for the 15R.
- Record the date and price you saw, then recheck the listing before you pay, because a gap of this size can change quickly.
Choosing between the two
The iQOO 15R is the stronger value on the displayed Indian prices and carries the larger battery and faster wired charging according to its official page. The Galaxy S25 Edge costs more on the same snapshot and is the thinner design of the two, but its battery and charging figures and its camera hardware should be verified before you weigh them against the iQOO. For most buyers, the decision should rest on a like-for-like price in your market, the warranty and support in your country, and the camera samples that matter to you.
