The specifications below come from the manufacturers, not a controlled head-to-head test. There is no reliable single price difference without specifying a country, storage configuration, condition, and seller.

Which phone has the more useful camera setup?
vivo X200 Pro: high-resolution telephoto emphasis
vivo lists a 200 MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera with an 85 mm-equivalent focal length, alongside a 50 MP main and 50 MP ultrawide camera. That gives the X200 Pro a distinct telephoto-resolution emphasis in its published hardware.

Galaxy S24 Ultra: separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras
Samsung lists a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP 5x telephoto, a 10 MP 3x telephoto, and a 12 MP ultrawide. Its camera layout offers two listed telephoto focal options, while the vivo’s headline telephoto is the 200 MP unit.
#1 Best Overall
- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
Megapixel counts alone do not establish which phone takes better photos. They do not substitute for comparable image samples, camera-mode availability, or video testing, none of which these specifications establish.
How do the displays and batteries differ?
The vivo display is listed at 6.78 inches and supports an adaptive refresh rate from 0.1 to 120 Hz. Samsung lists the S24 Ultra display at 6.8 inches and describes it as flatter and suited to productivity. The slight difference in stated diagonal and the shape preference may matter more to a buyer than the figures alone; the cited specifications do not establish that one display is brighter or better.

- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
vivo lists a 6,000 mAh battery and markets semi-solid battery technology; Samsung lists 5,000 mAh. These are manufacturer-stated capacities, not runtime results. Actual endurance depends on use, settings, network conditions, and regional version, so capacity alone cannot show which phone lasts longer in practice.
Which is better for software support and productivity?
The S24 Ultra includes an S Pen and Galaxy AI features in Samsung’s launch materials. Samsung also states that the S24 series receives seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. That is a published company commitment, not a guarantee that a particular update will arrive on a particular date.

- 6.8″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with a 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh rate and up to ~2600 nits peak brightness — delivering a bright, sharp screen with smooth scrolling and great outdoor visibility.
vivo’s global product page names Funtouch OS 15. The cited materials do not establish a comparable support duration for the X200 Pro, so weigh Samsung’s stated commitment directly if a published long-term update policy is important to you. Software features and availability can vary by region.

A single current price difference cannot be established from the available figures because the comparison does not specify a country or equivalent current listings. The vivo China product page lists the 12 GB + 256 GB X200 Pro at CNY 5,299; that regional listing is not a like-for-like comparison with a current S24 Ultra offer elsewhere. Samsung’s cited worldwide availability announcement dates from 2024 and does not provide current street pricing.

To compare what you would actually pay, use current listings in the same market and match storage, device condition, seller, and warranty. Do not treat a currency conversion of the China listing as your local purchase price.

Which phone should you choose?
- Choose based on camera layout: The vivo highlights a 200 MP 85 mm-equivalent telephoto, while Samsung lists separate 3x and 5x telephoto cameras plus a 200 MP main camera.
- Prioritize stated battery capacity: vivo lists the larger capacity, but the figures do not establish which phone has longer real-world battery life.
- Prioritize stylus workflow or Samsung’s published support policy: The S24 Ultra has the S Pen and Samsung’s seven-generation OS-upgrade and seven-year security-update commitment.
- Prioritize purchase cost: Compare current local listings for equivalent storage and condition rather than relying on a cross-market price figure.
