The Samsung Galaxy S24 5G is the smaller, lighter choice; the vivo X200T offers a much larger display, a higher listed battery capacity, and faster stated charging. Their camera hardware and storage options differ, too. A 2026 price snapshot puts the vivo lower, but it uses a different retailer for each phone and does not establish matching storage configurations or checkout totals.

How their sizes differ in everyday use
Choose the Galaxy S24 for a more compact phone
Samsung lists the S24 at 147.0 × 70.6 × 7.6 mm and 167 g, with a screen measuring 15.64 cm diagonally (about 6.2 inches). Those figures make it the smaller and lighter option on the published specifications. That form factor may suit buyers who prioritize a phone that takes up less space in a pocket or is easier to handle one-handed.

Choose the X200T for more screen area
The X200T has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 2800 × 1260 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It is the larger-screen option, but vivo lists its weight at about 203–205 g depending on color. If you watch video, read, or play games on your phone, the extra screen area may matter more than compactness.
#1 Best Overall
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
Camera hardware: compare the lenses, not just megapixels
The X200T lists three 50 MP rear cameras: a main camera, an ultrawide, and a telephoto. Samsung lists a 50 MP wide camera, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom. Both phones therefore offer more than a main camera, including a dedicated telephoto lens, but the listed configurations are not identical.
Resolution counts alone do not show which phone takes better photographs. Image quality depends on more than megapixels, and the cited specifications do not provide a controlled comparison of photos or video. Consider the camera modes and focal lengths you actually use; do not treat the X200T’s three 50 MP sensors as proof that its pictures are better.
Rank #2
- This phone is unlocked and compatible with any carrier of choice on GSM and CDMA networks (e.g. AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, US Cellular, Cricket, Metro, Tracfone, Mint Mobile, etc.).
Battery capacity and charging: what the numbers establish
vivo lists the X200T with a 6200 mAh typical battery capacity and a 6060 mAh minimum, plus maximum charging ratings of 90 W wired and 40 W wireless. vivo says the maximum wireless rate requires a compatible vivo charger; actual capacity and charging power can depend on conditions. Samsung lists the S24’s typical capacity as 4000 mAh.
These figures show that the X200T has the higher stated capacity and charging ratings. They do not establish how long either phone lasts in comparable use or how quickly each charges from a particular starting level. Battery life and charge time require comparable testing; the specification pages are not such a test.
Rank #3
- Width: 2.78 inches; Length: 5.79 inches; Height: 0.30 inches
Storage options and software considerations
The X200T’s India page lists 12 GB RAM paired with either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. Samsung lists S24 storage options of 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. Retailer availability can differ, so confirm the exact configuration before comparing prices.
vivo’s India product page lists Android 16 with OriginOS 6 for the X200T. The consulted Samsung pages do not establish an update-policy comparison, so they are not enough to make a reliable claim about which phone will receive software updates for longer. Check the current regional support commitments and installed software for the specific model you are considering. Your familiarity with Samsung One UI or vivo OriginOS, and your existing device ecosystem, may also affect the choice.

Price difference in India: treat the snapshot as a starting point
A 91mobiles comparison page accessed in 2026 reported ₹59,999 for the vivo X200T at Flipkart and ₹64,599 for the Samsung Galaxy S24 5G at Amazon—a difference of ₹4,600 in that snapshot. These are secondary-source listed-price figures, not verified same-day checkout prices, and the retailers differ. The snapshot does not establish that the two amounts refer to matching storage configurations. 91mobiles price comparison.

Samsung says specifications and prices are subject to change and availability can vary by location; retailer prices and stock can change as well. A current listing may not match the cited snapshot.
Best Value
- 6.7″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X, QHD+ display with 1–120 Hz adaptive refresh and a peak brightness of ~2,600 nits — giving a noticeably sharper, brighter screen than the base S24.
Which one should you buy?
- Pick the Samsung Galaxy S24 5G if compact dimensions and lower listed weight are your priorities, or if its 128 GB option better fits your budget and storage needs.
- Pick the vivo X200T if you want a larger 6.67-inch display, prefer its listed battery and charging specifications, or want a 12 GB RAM configuration with 256 GB or 512 GB storage.
- Decide on camera features by use, not sensor count. Both offer main, ultrawide, and telephoto rear cameras; the published figures alone do not establish a photo-quality winner.
- Compare actual offers before paying. Use the same storage size where possible and check the live seller listing, warranty, and checkout total.
There is no specification-based winner for every buyer: the S24’s clearest advantage in the published figures is its smaller, lighter body, while the X200T offers the larger screen and higher stated battery and charging ratings. Choose according to the trade-off that matters most to you.
