Which phone has the better performance and storage?
The X300 FE has the newer stated chipset and more listed configuration choices: up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. The comparison page lists the S22 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and 8GB RAM. That is a paper-spec advantage for the vivo, but the listed information does not establish how either phone performs in sustained gaming or other demanding use. The comparison page’s benchmark figures do not include a clear, independent matched-device test method, so they are not a firm basis for declaring a real-world winner.

The Galaxy S22 has the smaller 6.1-inch display at 1080 × 2340 pixels; the X300 FE has a 6.31-inch, 2640 × 1216 panel. Both are listed at 120Hz, while their display technologies are described as Dynamic AMOLED 2X for Samsung and AMOLED for vivo. These specifications establish a size and resolution difference, not which screen looks better in person.

Which phone has the better camera specifications?
The two phones take different approaches to their rear-camera lineups. The S22 has a 12MP ultrawide module, while the X300 FE’s wide-angle module is 8MP and fixed focus. Both have a 50MP main camera and a telephoto camera specified for up to 3× optical zoom; vivo specifies OIS on both its main and telephoto cameras. The X300 FE also lists a 50MP autofocus front camera.
These are hardware descriptions, not image-quality scores. Megapixel counts and stabilization specifications do not settle how photos or video compare in different lighting, zoom ranges, or use cases.

The listed capacities are 3,700mAh for the S22 and 6,500mAh typical, 6,350mAh rated minimum, for the X300 FE. The comparison page lists 25W wired charging for Samsung; vivo advertises up to 90W FlashCharge. Vivo says reaching its maximum charging figure requires the original charger and cable, and that charging power adjusts dynamically during use. These figures describe capacity and maximum charging power; they are not controlled battery-life or charging-time results.
What is the India price difference?
On 91mobiles’ comparison page as accessed October 4, 2026, the Galaxy S22 was listed at ₹85,999 via Flipkart and the X300 FE at ₹89,995 via Amazon India—a ₹3,996 difference between those displayed listings. The page does not make these synchronized, like-for-like offers.

Vivo India’s store, accessed the same date, showed ₹94,999 for the selected X300 FE Urban Olive 12GB/256GB configuration, against an MRP of ₹119,999 and a displayed 20% reduction. Compared with the 91mobiles S22 listing of ₹85,999, that is a ₹9,000 difference, but it mixes a vivo store configuration and price context with a separate retailer snapshot. The sources do not provide a contemporaneous Samsung direct-store price for the S22. Check the current listing, selected storage, seller, and offer terms before comparing prices.
Does the older Galaxy S22 still make sense to buy?
The comparison page dates the S22 to February 25, 2022 and the X300 FE to May 6, 2026. As a result, an S22 listing may be for old stock or a used or refurbished phone. Confirm the device’s condition, seller, regional model, warranty, and return terms before purchase.

The same comparison page reports Android 12 at the S22’s launch and Android 16 for the X300 FE, and lists four years of OS updates plus five years of security updates for the S22, versus five and seven years respectively for the X300 FE. Those are secondary-source claims about update durations; they do not establish how much support remains for a particular regional device today. Check manufacturer support information for the exact model and market.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the vivo X300 FE on paper if you want a newer stated chipset, more RAM/storage configurations, a larger display and battery capacity, or a 50MP telephoto and front-camera specification.
- Consider the Galaxy S22 if compact size matters more to you, or if its three-camera arrangement—including the higher-resolution ultrawide—fits your needs. Check condition and current software support for the specific unit.
- Compare live prices carefully because the available India listings show different X300 FE amounts depending on retailer and configuration, and do not represent one synchronized price comparison.
Neither specification sheet proves better photos, longer runtime, or faster sustained performance. Those questions require comparable real-world testing.
