A 91mobiles retailer-linked snapshot showed a lower listing for the M56, but the listings came from different retailers and do not establish a like-for-like price gap. On the available specifications, neither phone is a clear winner for performance, camera quality, or battery life.

What the specifications mean in everyday use
Screen and battery
Both comparison listings have a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen and 5,000 mAh battery. The A37 listing specifies a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the M56 listing identifies its panel as Super AMOLED Plus. Those labels and capacity figures do not, by themselves, establish which screen looks better or which phone lasts longer in real use.
Performance
The 91mobiles comparison lists the Exynos 1480 in both phones. Samsung’s A37 material also describes an octa-core platform, LPDDR5X memory, and claimed CPU and GPU improvements versus its previous model. A shared chipset listing does not prove equal sustained performance: that depends on factors such as software, cooling, workload, and configuration. No matched independent performance test is established here.

The listed rear-camera setups share a 50 MP wide and 8 MP ultra-wide camera; the notable specification difference is the macro camera, listed at 2 MP for the M56 and 5 MP for the A37. A higher megapixel count on that module does not prove better overall photo quality, and the specifications do not establish which phone takes better pictures.
Weight, thickness, and support
Samsung Electronics’ 2026 Q1 Interim Report gives the M56 dimensions as 162.0 × 77.3 × 7.2 mm and weight as 180 g. Compare those with the exact A37 regional product specification if size or hand comfort matters. Samsung describes the M56 as receiving six OS upgrades and six years of security updates; an equivalent official regional support statement for the A37 is not established here, so these figures do not support a direct support-life advantage claim.

Price difference: treat listings as a snapshot, not a fixed gap
When accessed in 2026, 91mobiles displayed the Galaxy M56 at ₹33,895 via Flipkart and the Galaxy A37 at ₹40,999 via Amazon. These were retailer-linked listings, not guaranteed checkout totals, launch prices, or a confirmed comparison of identical variants. Samsung India’s A37 purchase-page search result separately showed an offer price of ₹46,999 against an MRP of ₹60,999 for its displayed configuration. That is a different offer and configuration context, so it should not be combined with the 91mobiles figures as though they described one consistent price comparison.
The date records also differ: Samsung’s M56 product page lists April 17, 2025 as its launch date, while the comparison page dates the M56 to April 23, 2025 and the A37 to April 10, 2026. These dates may reflect different launch or sale milestones; the available material does not establish a single meaning for each comparison-page date.

Choose based on the actual deal
The available 91mobiles snapshot makes the M56 the value-led candidate, but only provisionally: the listed sellers and possibly the configurations differ. Before buying, compare the same RAM and storage variant and the final checkout total, including delivery, discounts, and payment conditions.
Use your priorities to break a close call
- Consider the M56 if the same configuration is genuinely cheaper and its 180 g weight, 7.2 mm thickness, or published update commitment fits your priorities.
- Consider the A37 if its exact variant and seller offer make sense for you, or if the listed 120 Hz display or 5 MP macro camera matters to your choice. These specifications alone do not establish a better overall screen or camera.
- Do not decide from battery capacity or chipset name alone. Both listings show a 5,000 mAh battery and Exynos 1480, but those specifications do not establish battery endurance or real-world speed.
What to verify before placing an order
- Match the RAM and storage capacity on both listings; do not compare different SKUs as if they were equivalent.
- Check the final price from the seller you intend to use, including any conditions attached to discounts or payment offers.
