Samsung specifies a Super AMOLED screen and 45 W charging; Motorola lists an LCD and a larger 7,000 mAh battery. A reliable price gap cannot be calculated from the available official listings: Motorola’s India catalog showed ₹22,249, while Samsung’s reviewed pages did not show a current transaction price.

Specifications are manufacturer listings, not independent test results. Motorola notes that some specifications may vary by market, so check the local product page before buying. Samsung’s Galaxy M47 5G specifications and Motorola’s moto g77 power product catalog provide the cited details.
How the displays differ
Both phones are listed with 120 Hz refresh rates. Samsung specifies a Super AMOLED panel, while Motorola specifies an LCD. Those are meaningful differences in panel technology, but the published specifications alone do not establish which screen is brighter outdoors or looks better in everyday use. Samsung lists the M47 at 1080 × 2340 and 16.91 cm full rectangle; Motorola lists a 6.72-inch, 2400 × 1080 Full HD+ screen.

The moto g77 power has the higher listed battery capacity: 7,000 mAh, with 6,790 mAh rated, compared with the Galaxy M47’s 6,000 mAh typical capacity. Capacity does not establish how long either phone lasts in real use; no controlled battery-life comparison is available here.

Samsung lists 45 W fast charging and Motorola lists 30 W TurboPower wired charging. The higher stated wattage is not a charging-time result, and Samsung says its fast charger is sold separately. Check what is included with the exact regional retail package.
Camera evidence: what can be compared
Samsung lists three rear-camera resolutions—50 MP, 5 MP and 2 MP—and specifies optical image stabilization (OIS) for the main camera. The cited Motorola support material does not provide a complete camera configuration for a like-for-like comparison. Megapixel counts and OIS specifications do not, by themselves, establish which phone takes better photos; no comparative camera test is available.

Software support and updates
Samsung’s India product information says the Galaxy M47 5G will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date. Samsung notes that the policy is subject to change. Motorola’s support page lists Android 16 and “1 year + 3 year” for OS upgrades and security patches. These are not identically worded commitments, so check the applicable market’s official support policy when long-term updates are a deciding factor. Samsung’s published M47 support information and Motorola India’s support page are the relevant references.

Motorola India’s catalog displayed ₹22,249 for the moto g77 power when checked, alongside 4GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB configurations. That is a volatile catalog listing, not a confirmed like-for-like transaction price. The reviewed Samsung pages identify 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants but do not establish a current transaction price. Therefore, the available figures do not support a reliable numeric price difference.

For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same market on the day you plan to buy, match memory and storage as closely as possible, and distinguish a regular listed price from a sale price or conditional offer. The Motorola catalog price is available on its India product page; Samsung’s reviewed official specifications page does not provide a current transaction price.

- Consider the Galaxy M47 5G if you prioritize a Super AMOLED display, the higher listed wired-charging wattage, main-camera OIS, or Samsung’s stated update commitment.
- Consider the moto g77 power if its larger listed battery capacity is the more relevant specification, or if a current same-market offer makes its configuration better value for you.
- Compare prices before deciding if cost is the deciding factor: the available Motorola listing alone cannot show whether it is cheaper than a comparable M47 configuration.
These are specification-based distinctions, not claims about tested battery endurance, charging time, camera quality or overall performance.
