The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G and Moto g max 5G have different strengths on paper: the Samsung is listed with a Super AMOLED display and faster charging, while the Moto has a slightly larger LCD, a larger-capacity battery and a higher-resolution selfie camera. Both are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. Neither is an established all-around winner from these specifications alone, and comparison sites show conflicting prices.

Which display is the better fit?
The listed screen sizes differ by just 0.06 inches: 6.66 inches for Samsung and 6.72 inches for Moto. The more meaningful distinction is panel type. Samsung is listed with Super AMOLED, while Moto is listed with LCD. Those labels identify different display technologies, but the comparison figures do not establish brightness, color accuracy, outdoor readability or overall screen quality.
Battery capacity and charging are a trade-off
The Moto is listed with a 7,000 mAh battery, compared with 6,000 mAh for Samsung. Samsung is listed for 45W charging and Moto for 30W. Capacity and charging wattage do not establish actual battery life or time to recharge: those depend on factors such as usage, software, charger compatibility and charging conditions.

What do the camera specifications tell you?
Both phones are listed with a 50 MP main rear camera. The reported secondary rear-camera configurations differ: 50 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP for Samsung and 50 MP + 8 MP for Moto. Samsung is listed with a 12 MP front camera, while Moto is listed with a 32 MP front camera. Megapixel counts and camera count do not by themselves show which phone takes better photos or video; the available comparisons do not provide controlled image-quality evidence.
Which phone is faster, and how long will it be supported?
Processor performance
The comparison listings name the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 for Samsung and Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 for Moto. Although a comparison result describes both as octa-core and gives similar clock-speed information, that does not establish which performs better in everyday use, gaming or sustained workloads. Software and update commitments
Comparison results list Android 16 for both models, but the exact version should be checked on the regional variant being sold. 91mobiles reports six years of OS and security updates for Samsung, versus two years of OS updates and three years of security updates for Moto. These are third-party reported commitments; confirm them with the manufacturer for the market and model you intend to buy.
Why do the displayed prices disagree?
There is no reliable single price to quote from the comparison results. 91mobiles displays ₹35,999 for Samsung and ₹27,599 for Moto. Gadgets Now shows ₹30,999 for Samsung and ₹26,999 for Moto in one result, but ₹25,999 for Samsung and ₹26,999 for Moto in another comparison orientation. The apparent price gap—and even which phone costs more—changes across those displays. These figures are not verified live prices.

Before comparing value, check the current listing for your country, the seller, and the exact RAM and storage configuration of each phone. Compare matching variants at the same time; a price attached to a different configuration or seller is not a fair like-for-like comparison.

- Lean toward Samsung if you prefer the listed Super AMOLED panel, 45W charging or the longer update term reported by 91mobiles, after confirming that support commitment with the manufacturer.
- Lean toward Moto if the larger listed battery capacity, slightly larger screen or higher-resolution front-camera specification matters more to you.
- Do not decide on processor or camera quality from these numbers alone. The available specifications do not establish real-world speed, battery runtime, charging time or photo quality.
- Use the live, like-for-like price as a deciding factor. The comparison sites’ displayed figures conflict, so verify the exact model and variant before treating either as better value.
