Samsung’s India product specifications are the basis for the display, camera, battery, and listed 6/128 GB details: Galaxy M36 5G and Galaxy A07 5G. The A07 5G is also announced in 4/64 GB and 8/256 GB configurations; availability and configurations can vary by market.
What is the price difference in India?
On the 91mobiles comparison page accessed 7 October 2026, the displayed Amazon listing was ₹21,999 for the Galaxy M36 and ₹16,580 for the Galaxy A07 5G. That is a ₹5,419 gap in that snapshot, not a fixed Samsung price. Listings can change with stock, seller, offers, and configuration, and the displayed models may not have matching RAM and storage.
Before comparing checkout prices, confirm that both listings are for the same memory tier—6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is the configuration shown on the two Samsung India product pages cited above. Treat any difference as a live-market comparison rather than a permanent price advantage.

Does the M36 have a better display?
On specifications, yes, if sharpness and AMOLED contrast matter to you. Both phones list a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, but the M36’s 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED panel has substantially more resolution than the A07 5G’s 720 × 1600 PLS LCD. The shared refresh-rate figure does not make their image detail or panel technology equivalent.
Samsung describes the A07 5G as offering up to 800 nits HBM in its 12 February 2026 launch announcement. That is a manufacturer specification, not a comparative brightness test against the M36.

Which phone has more useful cameras?
Galaxy M36 5G
The M36 has a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP macro camera, plus a 13 MP front camera. The ultrawide gives it a rear-camera option the A07 5G does not list, while OIS is specified for the M36’s main camera.

The A07 5G has a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP depth camera, with an 8 MP front camera. Samsung does not list OIS for it. The shared 50 MP main-camera resolution does not establish equal photo quality, and these hardware specifications alone cannot show which phone takes better pictures in practice.

Is the A07 5G battery meaningfully bigger?
Samsung lists a typical capacity of 6,000 mAh for the A07 5G and 5,000 mAh for the M36, so the A07 5G has the larger stated battery. Capacity alone does not translate into a guaranteed number of hours or days: Samsung notes that actual battery life varies with network conditions, usage, and other factors.
How do performance and software support compare?
The available processor details identify the M36’s chipset as Exynos 1380 and the A07 5G’s as MediaTek Dimensity 6300. Processor names and clock speeds are not a substitute for comparable testing, so the supplied specifications do not establish which phone is faster for gaming, multitasking, or everyday use.

Samsung says the M36 is planned to receive six generations of OS upgrades; its product page says that update information reflects current plans and is not a commitment. Samsung’s A07 5G launch announcement says up to six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, while noting that policy may vary by device model and market and that timing or policy may change. On the India product pages accessed, security updates are listed through 31 December 2031 for the M36 and 31 January 2032 for the A07 5G. These dates and policies are market-specific manufacturer information, not a guarantee that every update arrives at the same time in every region.
Which should you buy?
- Choose the Galaxy M36 5G if you prioritize a higher-resolution AMOLED screen, an ultrawide camera, OIS on the main camera, or a higher-resolution selfie camera.
- Choose the Galaxy A07 5G if the lower observed India listing price or its larger stated battery capacity matters more to you than display resolution and camera flexibility.
For either phone, compare the same RAM and storage configuration at current checkout prices. The observed ₹5,419 gap is useful context, but it can change and may not represent a like-for-like listing.
