Which phone has the better display?
The Galaxy M17 5G favors sharpness and panel type: its listed 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display is FHD+ at 1080 × 2340. The NARZO 100 Lite 5G has a slightly larger 6.81-inch LCD, but its listed resolution is HD+ at 720 × 1570. That means Samsung has the higher listed pixel resolution, while realme offers the larger screen and faster 144 Hz refresh rate versus Samsung’s 90 Hz.

Choose based on what matters more to you: finer detail and AMOLED, or a larger panel with a higher refresh-rate specification. Refresh rate alone does not establish overall display quality.
Which has the better cameras?
On paper, Samsung offers more shooting options: a 50 MP main camera plus 5 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro cameras. realme lists a single 13 MP rear camera. The front-camera specifications are 13 MP for Samsung and 5 MP for realme.

These figures describe listed hardware, not comparative photo quality. Megapixels and camera count cannot establish which phone takes better photos in daylight, low light, or video; no independent head-to-head camera test is established by the sources cited here.

realme lists a 7,000 mAh battery, compared with Samsung’s 5,000 mAh. The larger nominal capacity gives realme a specification advantage, but capacity is not a measured runtime: actual battery life depends on use and conditions. Samsung itself notes that factors such as network environment, usage, calls, messages, and charging history affect battery life.

The listed charging rates are 15 W for realme and 25 W for Samsung. Samsung states that its 25 W fast charger is sold separately. The figures alone do not establish charging times or which phone lasts longer in a controlled test.
Performance, memory, and storage
91mobiles lists the Samsung Exynos 1330 and MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in realme, both octa-core chips with listed maximum clock speeds of up to 2.4 GHz. That is not enough to declare a performance winner: there is no comparable independent benchmark or head-to-head test established by the cited material.

Pay close attention to the exact RAM and storage combination. The comparison’s baseline pairs Samsung’s 4 GB RAM with 128 GB storage and realme’s 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage. Other variants are listed, so a price comparison that mixes them would not be like for like. realme’s official page describes configurations with up to 128 GB ROM.

Software support and ownership
Samsung’s India product page lists a security-update period valid until September 30, 2031. Its Galaxy M17 5G launch date is October 10, 2025. The cited material does not establish a corresponding realme support-period commitment, which should not be read as proof that realme offers no updates.
Before buying either phone, confirm the exact RAM/storage variant, seller, warranty terms, and current checkout price. Those details can affect the value of a listing more than a headline price alone.
Price difference: which is cheaper?
