The Samsung Galaxy F70e is the lower-priced launch option with more storage at entry level, higher listed camera resolutions and a six-year OS and security update promise. The vivo Y11 5G costs more at launch but has a larger stated battery and an IP65 rating, compared with the F70e’s IP54. Neither is a universal winner: the better fit depends on whether price, support, battery capacity or ingress protection matters most.
Prices below are India launch prices, not guaranteed current offers. The comparison uses manufacturer specifications and launch reporting; it is not based on hands-on or side-by-side testing.
Samsung Galaxy F70e vs vivo Y11 5G: launch price and storage
At launch, the Galaxy F70e was cheaper in both useful entry-level comparisons. Samsung’s February 2026 announcement quoted net effective prices that included bank cashback; it also described a separate limited-period ₹500 launch offer. Gadgets360 reported vivo launch prices and up to ₹1,000 cashback on select bank cards. Offers and store prices can change, so treat these as historical launch figures rather than today’s quotes.

Comparing entry models, the F70e’s ₹12,499 launch price was ₹2,500 lower and came with 128GB rather than the Y11 5G’s 64GB. For 128GB storage, the Y11 5G’s ₹16,999 launch price was ₹3,000 above the F70e’s 4GB/128GB price. If you need more memory for apps, photos and downloads without relying on a card, the F70e’s launch configurations offer more storage for less.

How do their displays compare?
Both are large-screen phones with HD+ LCD panels and a stated refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Samsung specifies a 720 × 1600 PLS LCD for the F70e. vivo lists the Y11 5G with a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD and brightness of up to 1200 nits; vivo says 120Hz is supported in certain scenarios, and actual usage may vary. The cited Samsung specifications do not provide a directly comparable brightness figure, so the available figures do not establish which screen is brighter in use.
Which phone has the better camera?
By listed resolution, Samsung has the stronger-looking camera hardware: the F70e has a 50MP main and 2MP depth rear camera, plus an 8MP selfie camera. The Y11 5G has a 13MP main rear camera, a QVGA secondary camera and a 5MP selfie camera, according to the vivo India product page and launch report.
Those numbers describe resolution, not image quality. The available sources include no comparative camera test, so they cannot show which phone takes better photos in daylight, low light or portrait mode.

Battery capacity and wired charging
The vivo Y11 5G has the larger stated battery: 6500mAh typical capacity, with 6355mAh rated capacity on vivo’s India product page. The same page’s battery and durability claims include lab-condition caveats; capacity alone does not predict everyday endurance.
Samsung lists the Galaxy F70e at 6000mAh typical capacity and 5830mAh rated minimum capacity on its India specifications page. Samsung announces 25W charging, while Gadgets360’s Y11 5G launch report lists 15W wired charging. That gives Samsung the higher listed charging power, but it does not establish real charging times; no matched charging or battery-endurance test is available here.
Water and dust protection: IP65 vs IP54
The vivo Y11 5G carries an IP65 rating, compared with IP54 for the Galaxy F70e, according to the vivo India product page and Samsung’s launch announcement. The ratings are classifications, not permission to swim with or deliberately expose a phone to water. Samsung specifically warns that the F70e’s resistance can diminish over time and that it is not intended for beach or pool use. The cited sources do not establish that either device is safe for submersion.

Software updates and performance
Samsung promises six years of OS and security updates for the Galaxy F70e. A matching support-duration promise for the India Y11 5G was not established by the cited sources. If keeping a phone for several years is important, Samsung’s explicit term is a meaningful point of comparison.
Both phones are listed with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300, but a shared chipset name is not a substitute for performance testing. No independent benchmark or hands-on comparison is available here, so the specifications do not support a claim that one is faster in everyday use.
