The Xiaomi Redmi 15A 5G gives you a larger screen, a higher stated battery capacity, expandable storage and a headphone jack. The Samsung Galaxy F70e 5G offers faster rated charging, an IP54 rating and a six-year OS-and-security update promise. Which is better depends on the features you value—and on the live price of the same RAM and storage configuration.
There is no confirmed like-for-like current checkout price in the available listings. Samsung’s ₹12,499 and ₹13,999 figures were launch-period net effective prices, while a comparison page showed later retailer-linked prices that were not confirmed as matching configurations or final checkout totals.

Samsung’s launch prices
Samsung announced the Galaxy F70e 5G for sale from February 17, 2026, with net effective launch prices of ₹12,499 for 4GB+128GB and ₹13,999 for 6GB+128GB, including bank cashback. It also mentioned an additional limited-period ₹500 launch offer. These are historical launch terms, not a current price quote; the net effective amounts depended on the stated bank offer.

A 91mobiles comparison page accessed October 4, 2026, displayed ₹16,999 for the Galaxy F70e 5G at Flipkart and ₹16,340 for the Redmi 15A 5G at Amazon. The page does not establish that those prices were for the same RAM/storage variant, remained available, or represented final checkout prices. Treat the ₹659 difference as a snapshot of those displayed figures only—not a reliable like-for-like price advantage. See the comparison page.
How to compare what you will actually pay
- Choose the same RAM and storage tier for both phones. The closest shared configurations listed are 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB; Redmi also has a 4GB+64GB option.
- Open the retailer listing for the exact model and configuration, then check the price at checkout. Do not assume a comparison-page price includes a bank offer or applies to your selected variant.
- Compare the final amount with the same payment method and any conditions applied. Keep exchange value separate: it depends on the device traded in and is not a universal discount.
Which screen is better for your use?
The Redmi 15A 5G has the larger panel at 6.9 inches, compared with 6.7 inches on the Galaxy F70e 5G. Both are HD+ and specified for refresh rates up to 120Hz. Xiaomi lists 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz options; Samsung’s announcement specifies 120Hz. The larger Redmi screen may suit readers who prefer more viewing area, while the published specifications alone do not establish differences in brightness, colour accuracy or outdoor visibility.

Do the camera specifications show which takes better photos?
No. Samsung lists a 50MP main rear camera and a 2MP depth camera; Xiaomi lists a 32MP rear camera. Megapixel counts and camera count do not prove which phone produces better photos. No independent camera test results are established here, so choose based on other confirmed features unless you can compare sample images from the exact phones yourself. Both manufacturers list an 8MP front camera.

Xiaomi lists a 6,300mAh typical battery for the Redmi 15A 5G, while Samsung specifies 6,000mAh for the Galaxy F70e 5G. Xiaomi rates charging at 15W and also lists 7.5W wired reverse charging; Samsung rates the F70e at 25W. Xiaomi says a 15W adapter is included in the box. Capacity and charging ratings do not establish real-world battery life or measured time to recharge: usage, software, network conditions and charging conditions matter, and no comparative endurance or charging test is established here.

Software support and durability
Samsung promises six years of OS and security updates for the Galaxy F70e 5G. Xiaomi lists four years of Android updates and six years of security patches for the Redmi 15A 5G. The support terms distinguish major Android updates from security patches, so they are not identical promises.
The F70e is rated IP54 and the Redmi 15A 5G IP52. These are different dust- and water-resistance ratings; neither should be read as a promise that a phone is waterproof. Samsung’s announcement also describes the F70e as 8.2mm thin with a leather finish, and says it is available in Limelight Green and Spotlight Blue. Xiaomi lists dimensions of 171.56 × 79.47 × 8.15mm, a weight of 210g, and colours Awesome Blue, Amaze Purple and Ace Black.

Storage, audio and network features
The Redmi 15A 5G has the more flexible listed storage options: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB, plus microSD expansion up to 2TB. It also has a 3.5mm headphone jack and supports dual 5G SIM. Samsung’s launch announcement lists 4GB+128GB and 6GB+128GB, but does not establish equivalent microSD or headphone-jack details; check the exact regional listing if either feature is essential.
Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Redmi 15A 5G if
- You want the larger 6.9-inch display.
- You value the listed microSD expansion, 3.5mm headphone jack or dual 5G SIM support.
- You prefer the higher stated typical battery capacity or need wired reverse charging.
- You want a 4GB+64GB configuration as a lower-storage option.
Choose the Galaxy F70e 5G if
- You value Samsung’s stated six-year OS and security update promise.
- You prefer the higher 25W charging rating.
- You want the IP54 rating rather than IP52.
- You are choosing between the two shared 128GB configurations and find the Samsung listing cheaper at your actual checkout.
Samsung’s February 2026 announcement also attributes a promotional statement about the phone’s value-focused approach to Akshay S Rao, Director, MX Business, Samsung India; that is Samsung’s positioning, not an independent assessment. Samsung says its service network includes more than 3,300 centres.
