The Galaxy M17e 5G is the much newer option, with 5G, a 120 Hz display and 128 GB of storage. The older Galaxy F41 has a sharper Super AMOLED display and higher listed camera resolutions. Which suits you depends on whether you value newer connectivity and storage or those F41 specifications; available evidence does not establish a reliable current price comparison.

What changed between the 2020 F41 and 2026 M17e?
The release dates put these phones in different generations: Gadgets 360 reports the F41 arrived in India on October 8, 2020, and the M17e on March 17, 2026. The M17e supports 5G, and Samsung’s India specifications list its Sub-6 bands. The F41 is reported as a 4G phone by 91mobiles. Check that the M17e’s bands match your carrier and region before buying; the comparison does not establish compatibility with every network.
Gadgets 360 lists Android 10 for the F41 and Android 16 for the M17e. Those are listed software versions, not a guarantee of either phone’s current installed version or future update support. The available specifications do not establish how long the M17e will receive updates.
Display: sharper AMOLED or smoother 120 Hz LCD?
The F41’s listed 1080 × 2340 resolution and Super AMOLED panel contrast with the M17e’s 720 × 1600 HD+ PLS LCD and maximum 120 Hz refresh rate. In practical terms, the F41 has more pixels and an AMOLED panel on paper; the M17e’s higher refresh-rate specification may make supported motion appear smoother. These specifications alone do not prove which screen looks better in use, and no comparable hands-on display test is established here.

Cameras: compare resolution, not assumed image quality
On the cited specification listings, the F41 has a 64 MP main, 8 MP and 5 MP rear camera arrangement, plus a 32 MP front camera. Samsung lists a 50 MP + 2 MP rear setup and an 8 MP front camera for the M17e. That gives the F41 higher listed pixel counts for the rear and selfie cameras, but megapixels alone do not establish photo quality. Sensor, lens, processing and shooting conditions also matter, and the cited material does not provide a comparable camera test.

- Phones are Fully Unlocked.
Storage, memory and battery
The F41 comparison listing shows 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Samsung lists the M17e in 4 GB / 128 GB and 6 GB / 128 GB configurations, with microSD expansion up to 2 TB. The card shares a hybrid slot with a SIM, so using it may affect how you configure SIMs. Check the exact M17e configuration before purchase.
Both phones are listed with 6,000 mAh batteries by 91mobiles. Equal capacity figures do not mean equal battery life: display characteristics, network use, software and battery condition can all affect endurance. No directly comparable battery-life test is established.

Price difference and availability in India
A reliable current price difference cannot be calculated from the available listings. Samsung’s March 2026 launch announcement gave the M17e a starting price of ₹13,999; that is a launch figure, not a current quote. The 91mobiles comparison page, retrieved October 4, 2026, displayed ₹19,999 for the M17e and ₹12,999 for the F41, with the F41 marked out of stock. Those page figures do not establish current retailer prices, comparable configurations or availability.
Check Samsung India or authorized retailers for current M17e configuration and pricing, and verify F41 stock before treating it as a purchase option. For an older model, also confirm seller, condition, warranty and return terms rather than comparing an old listing price directly with a new-phone offer.
