The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G and vivo X300 FE sit in very different price tiers in India. The F36 is the lower-cost choice with a larger 6.7-inch display and Samsung’s stated six-generation Android upgrade and six-year security-update commitment. The X300 FE costs substantially more, but its listed hardware includes a higher-tier processor, a dedicated telephoto camera, a smaller 6.31-inch screen, and faster wired charging. The right pick depends less on a close spec contest than on whether those premium features justify the price gap for you.

The F36 is physically larger, while the X300 FE is the compact option. vivo’s listed resolution is higher, and its listed processor, memory and storage tiers are substantially more premium on paper. Those specifications do not establish real-world speed, battery endurance, or camera quality; no comparable test results are cited here. The camera hardware distinction to notice is the X300 FE’s dedicated 50 MP telephoto camera. Megapixel counts alone do not prove which phone takes better photos.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G if
- Your priority is spending substantially less than the X300 FE’s announced India prices.
- You prefer a larger 6.7-inch display for reading, video, or general use.
- Samsung’s stated six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates are important to your ownership horizon.
- You want a triple rear-camera setup with a listed main camera featuring OIS, without paying for a premium-tier phone.
The F36 is not a performance peer of the X300 FE based on its listed processor and memory tiers. Its case is value, screen size, and a clearly stated Samsung support commitment.
Choose the vivo X300 FE if
- You are comfortable with a substantially higher purchase price for higher-tier listed processor, RAM, and storage options.
- You want a smaller 6.31-inch phone rather than the F36’s larger panel.
- A dedicated telephoto camera matters to your camera setup.
- You value the larger stated battery capacity and 90 W wired charging specification.
vivo says maximum charging power requires its original adapter and cable and can vary with use. Battery capacity and charging rates are specifications, not proof of longer runtime or a particular charging time. vivo’s IP68/IP69 ratings should also not be read as unconditional waterproofing; the company describes testing under controlled conditions in its launch material.

What the specifications do not settle
- Real-world performance: The listed chips place the phones in different hardware tiers, but no comparable benchmark or measured speed result is established here.
- Photo quality: The X300 FE has a dedicated telephoto unit and higher listed front-camera resolution; those facts do not establish that every camera produces better images.
- Battery life: The vivo battery’s stated typical capacity exceeds the F36’s stated capacity, but actual endurance depends on use and was not tested for this comparison.
- Long-term support comparison: Samsung publishes a duration for F36 upgrades and security updates. The vivo India specifications cited here list its operating system but do not establish an equivalent X300 FE update-duration commitment.
- Water resistance: The vivo IP ratings describe rated protection under specified test conditions, not a guarantee against damage in every situation.
Bottom line on F36 vs X300 FE
For a lower-cost phone with a larger display and a stated long software-support commitment, the Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is the more sensible fit. The vivo X300 FE is the premium choice for buyers who specifically want its compact size, higher-tier listed hardware, telephoto camera, and faster charging specification—and are willing to pay much more for them. Compare the exact variant and current seller price before deciding.
