The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G is the stronger pick for a sharper AMOLED screen and listed camera features; the OPPO K14 5G is the better fit if you prioritise a larger battery and faster charging. Both list displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz, but their resolutions and panel types differ substantially. Price is less straightforward: compare the same RAM and storage configuration at the price available on the day you buy.

Specifications are manufacturer-listed rather than independently measured. See Samsung’s Galaxy F36 specifications and OPPO’s K14 5G specifications; configurations and availability can vary by retailer and market.
Which phone has the better display?
The Galaxy F36 has the clearer specification advantage on paper. Its FHD+ Super AMOLED resolution is 2340 × 1080, compared with the K14’s HD+ LCD at 1570 × 720. Both manufacturers list refresh rates up to 120 Hz, so the headline refresh-rate figure alone does not distinguish them. If you watch video, read small text or want the higher-resolution panel, Samsung’s listed display is the more compelling choice.

Which has better battery life and charging?
OPPO lists a 7000 mAh typical battery and support for up to 45 W SUPERVOOC charging; Samsung lists a 5000 mAh typical battery for the F36. That gives the K14 the larger stated capacity and an explicit fast-charging figure. Capacity does not establish how long either phone lasts in a particular person’s use, and charging speed can depend on conditions and equipment. OPPO also claims up to 18.9 hours of YouTube playback and five-year battery durability in its launch announcement; these are OPPO’s claims, not independent test results.

How do their cameras and video specifications compare?
Samsung specifies a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS), plus 8 MP and 2 MP rear cameras, a 13 MP front camera and 4K recording at 30 fps. OPPO lists a 50 MP wide camera and 2 MP monochrome rear camera, an 8 MP front camera, and rear 1080p recording at up to 60 fps in its listed modes. Those specifications make Samsung the more feature-documented option for stabilisation and higher-resolution video capture. Megapixel counts and listed modes do not by themselves establish which phone takes better photos or video.

How do the price and configurations compare?
The prices in the available official sources use different bases and dates, so they are not a like-for-like current quote. Samsung’s India buy page displayed a starting price of ₹21,999 for the 6GB/128GB F36 when observed in 2026. OPPO announced launch prices in March 2026 of ₹17,999 for the 6GB/128GB K14, ₹19,999 for 6GB/256GB, and ₹21,999 for 8GB/256GB, with sales starting on 20 March 2026. On those figures, Samsung’s displayed base price is ₹4,000 above OPPO’s launch base price; the gap is not a verified current transaction-price difference.
