The Samsung Galaxy F36 5G has the sharper, higher-resolution AMOLED display and a clearly stated long-term software-update commitment. The Moto G37 Power has the larger listed battery and higher-wattage charging. Both offer 120 Hz displays, but the specifications alone do not establish which phone is faster, takes better photos, or lasts longer in real-world use. Their published prices are also from different snapshots, so they do not show a reliable current price difference.

Specifications are from Samsung’s Galaxy F36 specifications, Samsung Newsroom India’s launch announcement, and Motorola’s Moto G37 Power support specifications. Motorola notes that specifications can vary by market, so confirm the local model before buying.
Display: sharper AMOLED or 120 Hz LCD?
Both phones list a 120 Hz refresh rate, so that figure alone does not distinguish them. The more meaningful difference is panel type and resolution: the Galaxy F36 uses a 1080 × 2340 Super AMOLED panel, while the Moto G37 Power uses a 1604 × 720 LCD. The Samsung’s listed resolution is substantially higher, while the Motorola’s screen is LCD. These specifications do not establish comparative brightness, color accuracy, or outdoor visibility.
Battery and charging: the Moto lists more capacity
Motorola specifies a 7,000 mAh battery, with 6,790 mAh as the rated capacity, and 30 W wired charging. Samsung lists 5,000 mAh typical capacity for the F36 and its launch announcement specifies 25 W charging. Motorola also lists 6 W wired reverse charging.

- Please note, this device does not support eSIM. This device is compatible with T-Mobile networks and its MVNOs in the United States, carrier compatibility, activation, and network performance may vary depending on IMEI acceptance policies, carrier requirements, regional network support, and available frequency bands.
- NOT compatible with the MVNO's (Spectrum, Cricket, Xfinity, H2O, Visible, etc.), may not recognize international IMEI numbers for activation. Carrier compatibility is not guaranteed in all areas of the United States. Please verify compatibility with your carrier prior to purchase. No U.S. manufacturer warranty; seller return policy applies.
- The included 25W Fast Charger is a generic accessory and is not a Samsung-branded charger, 6.7" FHD+ Super AMOLED, 120Hz, 1080x2340px, Fingerprint (under display, optical), IP67 dust and water resistance
- 256GB, 8GB, No SD Card Slot, Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (4nm), Octa-core, Adreno 710 GPU, Android 15, up to 6 major Android upgrades, One UI 7
- Rear Camera: 50MP, f/1.8 + 8MP, f/2.2 + 5MP, f/2.4, Front Camera: 12MP, f/2.2, 5000mAh Battery, Bluetooth 5.4
Those are manufacturer capacity and charging specifications, not measured endurance results. They do not establish how many hours either phone lasts; actual runtime depends on use, settings, network conditions, and other factors.
Cameras: compare the hardware, not just megapixels
Samsung lists three rear cameras on the F36: 50 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP, with OIS, plus a 13 MP selfie camera. Motorola lists a 50 MP main rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF, alongside an 8 MP front camera. The higher selfie-camera resolution and additional listed rear cameras do not by themselves prove better image quality. No controlled comparative camera results are established here.

Software support: Samsung states a longer commitment
Samsung’s launch announcement says the Galaxy F36 ships with One UI 7 and will receive six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates. Motorola’s support specification page identifies Android 16 for the Moto G37 Power but does not give a comparable support-duration promise. That page alone does not establish Motorola’s full update policy, so the two statements are not equivalent measures of actual update delivery.
Price difference: published figures are not like-for-like
Samsung’s launch announcement listed introductory India prices for the Galaxy F36: ₹16,499 for 6 GB + 128 GB, including a ₹1,000 introductory offer; ₹17,999 for 8 GB + 128 GB; and ₹20,999 for 8 GB + 256 GB. These are launch-era introductory prices, not verified current selling prices.

This is a catalog display observed on October 5, 2026, not a verified transaction price; the displayed price is not clearly tied to a specific variant.
Because the price types, dates, and variant associations differ, these figures cannot support a dependable current price difference. Check both listings on the same day and compare equivalent RAM and storage tiers. Motorola’s catalog is at Motorola India.

Which phone should you choose?
Choose the Galaxy F36 if display resolution and stated updates matter most
- You prefer a higher-resolution Super AMOLED display over an HD+ LCD.
- You value Samsung’s stated six Android-upgrade generations and six years of security updates.
- You want the listed 13 MP front camera or OIS on the rear camera system, while recognizing that specifications alone do not prove photo quality.
Consider the Moto G37 Power if battery capacity is your priority
- You prioritize its larger stated battery capacity and higher listed wired charging wattage.
- You want the listed IP64 rating and Motorola’s MIL-STD-810H claim.
- You are comfortable evaluating its HD+ LCD and checking the local model’s specifications, which Motorola says may vary by market.
Compare performance and price using the right evidence
The phones use different processors, but processor names and clock speeds are not a controlled performance comparison. Likewise, no independent test data here establishes a speed, camera, or battery-life winner. For price, choose the RAM/storage configuration first, then compare live offers on the same date rather than using launch-era pricing against a catalog snapshot.
