The Samsung Galaxy Buds3 FE are a sensible fit if you want active noise cancellation (ANC), Ambient Sound, and stem-style pinch and swipe controls—and you’re comfortable with Samsung’s stated battery life and the limits of its Galaxy-only extras. They also work as Bluetooth earbuds beyond Samsung phones, but not every feature does. The main reasons to hesitate are the absence of independent comparative sound and ANC results here, battery estimates that depend on use, and an IP54 rating that applies only to the earbuds, not the case.
What the Galaxy Buds3 FE offer
Samsung announced the Galaxy Buds3 FE on August 18, 2025, as part of its Galaxy Buds range. The U.S. launch announcement gave a $149.99 launch price and availability beginning September 4, 2025; that is historical launch information, not a current price quote. Check current pricing and regional stock before buying. Samsung’s U.S. announcement
Samsung lists a one-way dynamic driver, three microphones, ANC, and Ambient Sound. The blade-style stems use pinch gestures for selection and swipes for volume, while a button on the case supports pairing. Samsung describes the sound as having deep bass and clear treble, and claims improved ANC and call clarity. Those are manufacturer descriptions; the available evidence does not establish how the Buds3 FE compare with other earbuds in controlled listening or ANC tests. Samsung U.S. Samsung Global

Pros and cons at a glance

How long does the battery last?
Samsung estimates up to 6 hours of playback from the earbuds and up to 24 hours total with the case when ANC is on. With ANC off, its estimates rise to up to 8.5 hours per charge and up to 30 hours including the case. Samsung says these figures came from internal testing with pre-production earbuds paired to a recent Galaxy phone. It cautions that actual battery life varies with usage, settings, charging frequency, Bluetooth signal strength, and other factors. Treat the numbers as best-case estimates, not a promise for every phone or listening pattern. Samsung Global Samsung U.S.
Which features depend on a Samsung Galaxy device?
Basic Bluetooth audio is broader than the full feature set. Samsung’s stated Android compatibility baseline is Android 11 or later with more than 1.5 GB of memory, but it cautions that some functions are unavailable on non-Samsung devices. Confirm the specific controls and app support you need for your phone before purchase. Samsung Global

Are the Galaxy Buds3 FE waterproof?
No. Samsung lists IP54 for the earbuds, not a waterproof rating, and its U.S. announcement says the charging case is not water resistant. The rating does not establish protection for the case, swimming, or submersion. Keep both earbuds and case away from situations beyond the earbuds’ stated dust- and water-resistance rating. Fit and comfort: expect personal variation
Fit is individual, and the available customer comments are not a representative comfort test. Samsung Australia’s product page showed 4.3/5 from 52 reviews in a snapshot accessed October 7, 2026; one reviewer reported discomfort after an hour, while other reviewers praised the fit. The rating and reviews can change, and they do not predict how the earbuds will feel in your ears. Check the seller’s return policy if comfort is uncertain. Samsung Australia product page

Are the Galaxy Buds3 FE worth it?
They may suit you if ANC, Ambient Sound, stem controls, and the stated battery estimates match your priorities—and, for Galaxy-specific features, you own compatible Samsung devices. They are a less certain choice if you need verified comparative sound or noise-cancellation performance, have strict comfort requirements, or expect the case to share the earbuds’ IP rating.
Before choosing them over another pair, compare the current price and stock where you live, independent sound and ANC measurements, battery runtime with ANC enabled, fit and security, compatibility with your phone and tablet, and any assistant or translation features you intend to use. The launch price is not evidence of today’s best offer, and the available sources do not establish a universal winner against competitors.
