The Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 combines a large, vivid OLED touchscreen and included S Pen with strong battery results in two 2023 reviews. But its thin convertible design comes with a trade-off: HotHardware observed significant throttling during a long stress run. It is best understood as a capable everyday and media laptop, not a machine built for sustained heavy processing.
How long does the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 battery last?
HotHardware measured over 11 hours in a PCMark test that looped 1080p video in Windows 11 Movies and TV until the laptop shut down. Wi-Fi remained on, Focus Assist (then called Quiet Hours) was enabled, and screen brightness was calibrated to about 115 lux. This is a controlled video-playback result, not a promise of the same runtime for mixed work, gaming, or maximum brightness. Using Airplane mode could extend unplugged use when connectivity is not needed. HotHardware’s review also reports that the included 65W adapter charged the laptop fully in under two hours.
PCWorld reported a separate result of 812 minutes—just over 13.5 hours—in a 4K video loop test. The difference from HotHardware’s figure should not be treated as a head-to-head comparison: the publications used different video resolutions and test protocols. PCWorld’s review identifies its result as its own test, rather than a typical-use guarantee.

HotHardware found that the fans stopped when the laptop was cool enough. In its 3DMark Time Spy stress test, it measured about 37 dBA from one foot after the fans spun up. The review recorded surface temperatures around 104–105°F and a CPU peak around 75°C under its described sustained-test conditions. These figures describe that review’s test setup; fan noise and temperatures can differ with room conditions, workload, and configuration.

The more important limitation was performance over time: HotHardware reported significant throttling during a long stress run to manage heat. That finding does not mean every app or workload will throttle in the same way. It does suggest a distinction between brief demanding tasks and extended CPU-heavy work: this thin convertible is better suited to bursts than to hours of continuous processing.
What does the “Great Perf” part of the title mean?
It should be read as a qualified assessment, not a claim that the laptop leads its class in sustained performance. PCWorld described performance as “Good, not great” in its review. Its tested configuration used a Core i7-1360P and Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, a setup aimed at general productivity and media use rather than demanding graphics workloads. Neither review establishes the Book3 Pro 360 as a gaming or long-duration rendering powerhouse.

PCWorld’s assessment emphasizes the system’s all-round appeal, including its display, sound, camera, and battery. That fits the hardware proposition: a large convertible screen and pen input can matter more to a note-taker, presenter, or frequent media viewer than peak sustained processing throughput.
What makes the OLED display and convertible design stand out?
Samsung’s regional specifications describe the 16-inch Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 display as a 3K (2880 × 1800) Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400 nits typical brightness, and 500 nits for HDR. Samsung also describes a 360-degree hinge, touchscreen, and included S Pen. The US brochure covers both 14- and 16-inch sizes in the broader Pro 360 offering, so check the exact model and region before relying on a particular screen specification. Samsung’s regional specifications list configuration-dependent 13th-generation Intel processor options; Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 announcement provides broader product details.

PCWorld reviewer Mark Hachman summed up the content-focused strength this way: “With its superb OLED display and excellent sound, Samsung’s Galaxy Book3 Pro 360 doesn’t so much consume content as show it to its fullest advantage.”
Which configuration did reviewers test?
PCWorld’s reviewed configuration included a 16-inch display, Intel Core i7-1360P, 16GB LPDDR5 memory, a 512GB or 1TB SSD option, Intel Iris Xe graphics, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 1.4, microSD, and a headphone/microphone connection. This is the configuration described in that review, not a guarantee that every regional SKU has the same processor, memory, storage, or ports. Samsung notes that CPU options vary by model and region.

Who should consider the Galaxy Book3 Pro 360?
It is a stronger fit for someone who prioritizes a large OLED touchscreen, pen input, convertible flexibility, and media or productivity use, with demanding work generally arriving in shorter bursts. It is a weaker fit for a buyer whose main priority is sustained CPU or GPU throughput. For that kind of workload, compare long-duration performance and cooling behavior—not just the processor name or a short benchmark peak.
Before buying, verify the screen size, processor, memory, storage, and condition of the specific listing. PCWorld recorded a $1,699 MSRP in its 2023 review; that is a historical launch-era figure, not a current price. Current pricing, stock, and listing condition are not established here.
