Samsung Galaxy A57 vs vivo S2 5G specs

Which phone has the better screen and battery?
On listed figures, the vivo S2 has the larger, higher-resolution screen and a 2,050 mAh greater battery capacity. Both are listed at 120 Hz. The vivo display is described by its manufacturer as 1.5K POLED; the comparison listing calls the A57 screen Super AMOLED Plus.
Capacity and display specifications alone cannot predict battery life or screen quality. Usage, settings, software, and regional configurations matter. vivo says 44W FlashCharge assumes use of its original standard charger; actual charging power depends on external conditions. The listed 45W and 44W figures are not a charging-time test.

How do the cameras differ?
The A57’s listed rear-camera set includes an ultrawide camera, which the S2 comparison listing does not. The S2 instead has a 2 MP bokeh camera and a higher-resolution 32 MP front-camera specification. The A57’s main camera is listed with optical image stabilization (OIS); Samsung’s India product page provides its camera specifications at Samsung Galaxy A57 5G. vivo’s S2 product information lists its camera details at vivo S2.
These specifications describe hardware, not comparative photo results. Megapixel counts alone do not show which phone takes better pictures; lens coverage, stabilization, image processing, and shooting conditions also affect outcomes. No controlled A57-versus-S2 camera test is established here.

What do the software-support listings mean?
91mobiles lists six years of OS and security updates for the A57, compared with three years of OS updates and five years of security updates for the S2. Treat those figures as secondary-source listings rather than a guarantee for every market or variant. Check the manufacturer’s regional support policy for the exact model before buying.

The displayed figures differ by ₹19,099, but that arithmetic is not a dependable current saving: the A57 was marked unavailable, and listings can vary by storage, seller, and time. Check the 91mobiles comparison and price page alongside current local retailer listings, confirming the same storage tier, seller, stock, and final checkout price.

These are regional launch-review prices, not current quotes, and they do not establish a direct price comparison with the India-market S2.

Durability and performance claims to interpret carefully
vivo describes a 3,800 mm² vapor chamber and total cooling area exceeding 23,000 mm² as helping manage heat during gaming, video playback, and high-spec video recording. Those manufacturer figures do not establish comparative gaming performance against the A57.

Samsung India lists IP68 details for the A57. Water- and dust-resistance ratings are based on specified testing, not a promise that either phone will remain protected in every situation; consult each manufacturer’s terms and care guidance before exposing a device to water.
