In India, the OPPO F33 Pro 5G costs less on the cited prices: its announced ₹40,999 price for 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage is ₹22,000 below Samsung India’s displayed ₹62,999 starting price for the Galaxy A57 5G in the same configuration. The figures are not the same kind of price—OPPO’s is a launch price, while Samsung’s is a store display captured at research time—so check current offers and checkout prices before buying.
Which is cheaper in India?
For the like-for-like 8 GB / 256 GB models, OPPO announced the F33 Pro 5G at ₹40,999 in India on 15 April 2026. Samsung India displayed ₹62,999 as the Galaxy A57 5G starting price for its 8 GB / 256 GB configuration when checked for this comparison. The difference between those figures is ₹22,000.
That is a comparison of OPPO’s announced launch price with Samsung’s store display, not a guaranteed current checkout difference. Prices, stock and promotions can change. OPPO also announced an F33 Pro 8 GB / 128 GB configuration at ₹37,999; it is not a storage-matched comparison with Samsung’s cited 256 GB option. OPPO’s India launch announcement lists the F33 Pro prices and sales channels, while Samsung India’s store page is the source for its displayed configuration and price.
Samsung separately announced a U.S. starting price of $549.99, with U.S. availability beginning 9 April 2026. That is a U.S. launch figure and should not be compared directly with OPPO’s India prices. Samsung’s U.S. announcement also describes the A57’s U.S. availability and software-support commitment.

Samsung’s display details come from its U.S. Galaxy A57 support comparison; OPPO’s specifications come from its India launch announcement. Regional models may differ, so the cited U.S. A57 display information should not be treated as a complete India specification sheet.

Which phone has the better selfie-camera specification?
On paper, the F33 Pro is the more clearly specified choice for wide group selfies and front-camera features: OPPO lists a 50 MP ultra-wide camera with a 100° field of view, optical image stabilization (OIS) and autofocus. These figures describe the hardware and claimed features; they do not establish that its photos are better. The cited materials do not provide an independent camera comparison or a complete equivalent A57 front-camera specification.

How do the battery and charging specs compare?
OPPO lists a 7,000 mAh battery and 80 W SUPERVOOC wired charging for the F33 Pro. The cited Samsung material does not establish a directly comparable A57 battery-capacity or charging figure, so a fair spec-to-spec comparison cannot be completed from these sources. Battery capacity and charging wattage alone also do not show how long a phone lasts in everyday use or how quickly it charges under real conditions; no comparative endurance or charging test is established here.

What do the display and storage differences mean?
Display size and refresh rate
Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for the A57 in its U.S. support comparison. OPPO lists a 6.57-inch AMOLED display at 1080 × 2372 and 120 Hz, and claims peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits. Their stated refresh rates match, while the A57 has the larger diagonal. The panel names and OPPO’s brightness claim do not establish which screen looks better in measured or everyday viewing conditions.
Memory cards
The A57 does not support external memory cards, according to Samsung. The cited F33 Pro launch information does not establish whether its India variants accept a card, so do not assume it is expandable; confirm the exact model’s specifications if removable storage matters. OPPO announced F33 Pro configurations up to 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage.

What should you make of the durability and software claims?
OPPO lists IP69K, IP68 and IP66 ratings for the F33 Pro, along with MIL-STD-810H. These are distinct rating labels, not interchangeable shorthand for being indestructible, and the manufacturer listing is not an independent side-by-side durability test. The cited A57 sources do not establish a directly comparable test result, so the available information does not support a durability winner.
Samsung describes up to six generations of OS upgrades and long-term security support for its new Galaxy A series. OPPO identifies the F33 Pro software as ColorOS 16, based on Android, but its cited launch information does not give a support duration. That is not enough to conclude that one phone will receive longer support than the other.

Which one should you choose?
- Consider the F33 Pro if the India launch price, its specified 50 MP ultra-wide selfie camera, or its stated 7,000 mAh battery and 80 W charging are priorities. Those are manufacturer specifications, not proof of better camera results or longer real-world battery life.
- Consider the Galaxy A57 if you prefer the larger stated display diagonal, want Samsung’s stated Galaxy A-series software-support policy, or do not need an external memory card.
- Compare current local prices before deciding. The ₹22,000 difference is based on OPPO’s announced launch price and Samsung India’s displayed price for the same 8 GB / 256 GB capacity, not a promise of today’s checkout prices.
OPPO announced that the F33 Pro series would go on sale in India from 23 April 2026 through offline stores, OPPO E-Store, Flipkart and Amazon India. That announcement identifies launch channels, not current stock or pricing. Samsung’s India store is the cited source for its displayed A57 price; verify the exact regional model, availability and offers with the seller.
