The iQOO Z11 5G lists the larger, sharper, faster-refresh display and higher-capacity battery; the Samsung Galaxy A56 5G offers a stated six-generation OS-upgrade and six-year security-update commitment, plus a three-camera rear setup. There is no verified single price difference: the observed prices are for different storage configurations and can change. This comparison uses official India specifications and store prices checked in 2026, alongside Samsung’s March 2025 launch prices.

These are manufacturer-listed specifications, not results from comparative testing. They do not establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use, performs better in games, or takes better photos. Samsung Galaxy A56 specifications and the iQOO Z11 product page provide the official product details.

Display: iQOO lists the stronger numbers

The Z11’s listed panel is larger, has a higher resolution, and supports a higher refresh rate: 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED at up to 144 Hz, compared with the A56’s 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED at up to 120 Hz. Those figures favor the Z11 on paper. They do not by themselves tell you how the screens look in sunlight, how smoothly a particular app runs, or how much power the display uses in normal settings.

Battery and charging: capacity is not measured runtime

iQOO lists a 7050 mAh typical battery, while Samsung lists 5000 mAh typical. The larger rated capacity is a Z11 advantage on the spec sheet, but actual runtime depends on workload, signal conditions, screen settings, and other factors; no independent head-to-head endurance result is available here. The listed charging rates are close: 44 W for the Z11 and 45 W for the A56.

Cameras: compare lenses and resolution, not just megapixels

The A56 lists three rear cameras: a 50 MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 5 MP macro. The Z11 lists a 50 MP Sony IMX882 main camera with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide, with no macro camera listed in the reviewed official specifications. On the front, iQOO lists 32 MP versus Samsung’s 12 MP.

That gives the A56 an additional dedicated rear camera type and the Z11 a higher-resolution selfie-camera specification. Megapixel counts and lens counts alone do not establish photo quality; no matched camera samples or independent comparison are cited here.

Software support and durability

Software updates

Samsung states that the A56 supports up to six generations of OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates. The official iQOO pages reviewed do not state a Z11 update duration, so there is no verified like-for-like support-period comparison. Samsung’s published commitment is the clearer choice for shoppers who prioritize a stated update timetable. Samsung’s India launch announcement.

Water and dust resistance

Samsung lists IP67 for the A56. iQOO lists IP68/IP69 for the Z11 and describes the conditions behind its water-resistance claims on the official product page. iQOO warns that resistance “is not permanent and may be reduced with daily use.” IP ratings describe performance under defined test conditions; neither phone should be treated as permanently waterproof, and damage or wear can affect protection. Samsung also cited Gorilla Glass Victus+ in its launch materials.

India prices: why there is no fixed price difference

The observed prices are not a direct comparison of matching configurations. Samsung’s store displayed the A56 8 GB/256 GB at ₹48,999 and 12 GB/256 GB at ₹54,499 when checked in 2026. iQOO’s India e-store displayed the Z11 8 GB/128 GB at ₹39,999 at that time. Because the iQOO figure is for half the storage of the Samsung 256 GB configuration, subtracting the two does not produce a like-for-like price difference. Store prices, stock, and offers can also change.

Which phone should you buy?

Choose the iQOO Z11 if

  • You prioritize the larger 1.5K display and higher listed refresh rate.
  • You want the higher stated battery capacity, while recognizing it is not a guarantee of longer measured runtime.
  • A 32 MP front-camera specification or iQOO’s listed IP68/IP69 ratings matters to your shortlist.

Choose the Samsung Galaxy A56 if

  • You value Samsung’s explicitly stated update commitment.
  • You want a listed rear macro camera in addition to the main and ultrawide cameras.
  • You prefer to evaluate the A56’s Gorilla Glass Victus+ and IP67 specifications as part of your durability requirements.

For performance, gaming thermals, camera output, and network compatibility, the specifications here are not enough to name a winner. Check independent testing and the exact model’s carrier-band support if those factors will determine your purchase.
