The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G costs ₹7,779 more than the Galaxy F70 Pro 5G in Samsung India’s displayed 8GB/128GB configurations: ₹47,778 versus ₹39,999. In the specifications, the F70 Pro has the larger screen and higher listed typical battery capacity; the A56 has a documented IP67 rating and a 12MP ultra-wide camera. Both are listed with 120Hz displays, 12MP front cameras, and long software-support commitments.
India price difference: ₹7,779 for 8GB/128GB
Samsung India’s purchase pages displayed these prices for matching memory and storage configurations when accessed on October 7, 2026. The ₹7,779 difference is calculated from those listed prices; it is not a Samsung-published comparison or a retailer-wide survey. Prices, offers, stock and selected configurations can change.

The A56 page also listed 8GB/256GB at ₹48,999 (MRP ₹54,999) and 12GB/256GB at ₹54,499 (MRP ₹59,999). The F70 Pro price cited here is for 8GB/128GB, so compare the same configuration and check the live Samsung listing before buying. These are India-market figures, not Amazon prices. Samsung’s U.S. announcement gave the A56 a historical launch price of $499.99; it is not directly comparable with the India F70 Pro price.

Which phone has the better screen?
The F70 Pro has the larger stated display at 6.91 inches, compared with 6.7 inches on the A56. Both are listed with FHD+ Super AMOLED panels and 120Hz refresh rates. Choose based on whether you prefer a larger viewing area or a more compact phone; the listed diagonal alone does not establish other display-quality differences.
Do the chipsets prove which phone is faster?
No. Samsung lists the Exynos 1580 in the A56 and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the F70 Pro, but chipset names alone do not establish which phone performs better. A fair speed comparison would require benchmarks run under comparable conditions, which are not available here.

How do the cameras compare?
The A56’s listed rear setup pairs a 50MP main camera with OIS with a 12MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro camera. The F70 Pro lists a 50MP, 5MP and 2MP rear array with OIS. Both have 12MP front cameras. These specifications describe camera configurations, not which phone takes better photos; megapixel counts do not establish image quality, and no controlled camera comparison is available here.

Battery capacity
Samsung lists a typical capacity of 6,000mAh for the F70 Pro and 5,000mAh for the A56. That makes the F70 Pro’s stated capacity higher, but capacity alone cannot predict which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

Ingress protection
Samsung India lists the A56 as IP67-rated. The Samsung pages cited for the F70 Pro do not establish an equivalent rating. That is not confirmation that the F70 Pro lacks protection: verify the documentation for the precise model and SKU before relying on a rating.
Updates
Samsung advertises up to six generations of OS upgrades and up to six years of security updates for the A56. For the F70 Pro, Samsung India states six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch date, and notes that its update policy may change. The shared duration does not establish identical calendar end dates.

- Consider the Galaxy A56 if you want Samsung India’s documented IP67 rating or a listed ultra-wide camera alongside the main and macro cameras.
- Compare the exact live listings if you are deciding on price: the figures above are a dated snapshot, and configuration, offers and stock can vary.
Both models are officially listed by Samsung. The available specifications support a comparison of price, size, camera configuration, battery capacity, rating documentation and support policy, but not a definitive performance or photo-quality winner.
